What will happen to Uzura? I mean isn't a bit conflicting to be well, recarved in her case and return to her former puppet master?
[[ POSSIBLE SPOILERS IN FOLLOWING PARAGRAPH ]]
It's ironic in a way that she returned to Drosselmeyer in the end... but it makes sense. The story returned to how it should have been before, and Uzura wasn't a part of it then. When she left with him though, she did have something that Edel "supposedly" didn't have; a human-like heart. Emotions. Edel was just a puppet, but she did feel longing, and she did become capable of her own rational judgement (the decision to help Ahiru and sacrificing herself to keep Fakir alive).

i guess she doesn't care really just as long as she could some day pour water on a duck and have it turn into a young girl. that would make her happy
Heh, yeah
xd . Thing about Uzura was that she was easy to please.

I was confused about that as well, I was hoping she would take the root Edel did [not well burning...] but overcoming fate like Edel did. But one thing I noticed
Remember the scene where Edel sent Fakir and Ahiru into the staircase to find Rue and Mytho. She said something along the lines
"Duck...such a warm face...and soft skin" and she carressed Ahiru's face for a minute. Edel was a puppet and couldn't do those things, but when Uzura was born I noticed that when Ahiru told her she wouldn't return to a girl again, Uzura cried.
Maybe that was her "burning" or cutting of strings. Is Uzura now a character that could've [if given the chance] changed the story?
[[ MORE POSSIBLE SPOILERS ]]
Uzura did affect the story in her own ways. She showed Fakir where Ahiru was near the end of the series (The Lake of Dispair, was it?), and he did other, smaller things within the series as well. Like I stated in the above paragraph too, she seemed to have the human heart that Edel lacked and longed for so badly. She became more than just a puppet of the story.
