Has anyone ever had a pet that was a little out of the orinary like an odd type of animal? How about a pet that did seriously freaky things? Discuss!

i had a fire bellyed newt >3 he was 1 foot long and i loved him <3
he had 2 mates =o....everytime he mated with them...they would pop and die XD

Personally I have a crow that follows me around (probly only because I feed it though)and my cat attacks my head for no reson! I once had a tankful of blue and pink fish (all of which I named Mario or Luigi) I've had suicidal beta fish, a goldfish that lived for 2 and a half years, and a hamster that just up and dissapeared on me...

My pets are pretty uninteresting.... one of my friend's family has a 20 year old cat though.

I've never had a pet before. My dad says I'm basically an endangered species myself (family has a thing for dying young, X___X).
And my dad says I basically am an animal so we don't deserve one. But that's okay, I don't want nasty animals near my kids at this moment.
Although since we leave our windows open all the time we get tons of random stray cats in our house that hide and have babies in our hallway (that was an interesting day, belieeeeve me!)

*bursts into laughter* I love that.
I have a 14 year old weiner dog named Donatello. He is blind sorta, deaf, and um...pretty much can't smell anything. He's old, and likes to sleep a lot. The most unusual things he's done? Umm...hmm...
He used to know precisely when we were getting home so he'd wait at the top of the stairs for us.
And when he was a bit younger then now he'd jump up on the back of the couch and sleep like a cat.
^^
I've also had two betta fish, Trinity and Neo who are both dead now (I flushed them in the toilet once they died).
Uhh...I've also had a guinea pig, we never named her XDDDD and we had her for um... 5 years I think before she died.

hee hee what did you call her then "the guinea pig"? or "hey you"? xp my friedn wanted to name his cat "the nameless cat" but his little sister calls it "oobie goobie" and it answers to that LOL

Camryn49 A few crows? That's actually really cool! Quite, perfectly trained as well. Hmm, or at least, they know to do what would please me. -strokes umbrella handle in thought-

I haven't seen the crow that followed me around in ages... I hope nothing bad happened to him. Do yours live indoors (or in some sort of shelter on your property) or do they just come to you when you're outside from the wild?

my cat enjoys being my dad's alarm clock... about 15-30min before the alarm goes off she bounces on the bed, walks on him, gets onto his double high dresser for a lil while the bounces back onto him.... and instead of walking she'll stomp... and for having a carpeted staircase you can here her run up and down the stairs....
as for the dog... she'll eat at her food dish but other that that everything goes to my gmas room... she even has a pile of raw hides and tennis balls in the corner of the room and has her very own binky on the couch cuz she'd lay on the floor on gmas blanket as it covered her feet and whenever my best friend was over i'd shut the door cuz the dog was asleep on the couch.. dog must have some chip in her... goes from dead to the world to crying at my bedroom door to be let in
and i guess you can say gma has the neighborhood squirrels as pets... she has a wodden squirrel feeder with a glass jar on the front porch she'll put peanuts into every morning and once in a while i'll see a squirrel and grab a peanut and hold it up just as the squirrel turns to run away and it'll turn around and stare at me waiting for me to throw it
