Earth, one of the only planets known to sustain life, is in its prime. Recently, scientists have started to create a wormhole to other timelines that have to do with Earth... but they made a large error. See, they didn't think of what would come out of the portal... the Mauraders. Something good also came out of the portal, special beings with special powers.

So, now your part of the secret resistance... will you survive?
If you are an alternate these are the powers you can have: Shadow power, Fire power, Lightning power. If you are not an alternate you can be a Maurader or a human in the resistance.

A scream filled the midnight sky, the moons full light shining. A figure was running, a black cloak on its back. Long legs hit the ground rythmically, something following the cloaked figure. Tree's surrounded them, the forest floor black from the nights canopy of darkness. The figures foot cought under a tree root, the hood of the cloak falling down, exposing the face.
The face was twisted in pain, two large, pupiless eyes staring out. High set cheeck bones led to the plump lips, obviously female. Long brown/ black hair twisted in the wind, huddling to the side of the figure as the breeze blew east. The girls Large, pure white eyes gave her an eerie look, like that of the dead when looked at in comparison to the night sky.
Her face was paleish, she looked as beautifull, as perfect, as breakable as a porclein doll. Her eyes closed, her mouth hurridly spilling out rushed words. When her eyes opened again they were purple. Her hand raised, and a ball of flame shot forward. Another scream was heard, but this was from something else. This scream was made from pain, not fear. It was also created by something masculine, not feminine.
She knew she had killed it and she slowly tried to get up.. She realized her ankle was broken as pain shot through her leg. She bent down to look at it and saw it was bleeding aswell. The broken bone stuck slightly through the skin... She realized she was stuck for the night, but thanked the heavens that she was at very least able to have killed the Maruader before it had killed her.

Cathina lifted the last box onto the truck. There, she thought satisfied. That should be enough food to last the rest of the year. It had taken days to smuggle food out of the surrounding countries to feed the resistance but it had all been worth it. She glanced across the lake. Cathi grinned when she saw a flashing light from across the darkened water. "There's the signal," she said quietly, "Lets go." The truck drove off leaving her and a couple of volunteers for the resistance in the darkness as rear guard. The truck had to make it safely back to their hideout. That was the top priority of this mission.

Aya felt herself twisting in pain. She pulled a dagger from the side of her cloak and began to saw through the tree root after she realized there was no way her broken ankle could handle getting out of it. She wished she had taken the extra time to learn healing instead of rushing out into life as she had.
Her eyes returned to normal, pure white. She looked dead, she had that essence about her. Aya sighed, quickly concealing herself into the night, huddling under the blackness of the night to her cloak. She was alone.. Again. Always alone...
She held her hands together and closed her eyes once more... Once again the violet aura that escaped her eyes released fire into her veins. She created a fire into the night sky, a missle of flame that shot to the heavens before burning out. She sent out her help signal, and waited. what else could she do. She had failed her mission, killing only one of the Maruaders when she was assigned five..
She let her eyes once more return to normal, her hands curling behind her to rest her head.
"I am not finished yet... I will get revenge."
Memories of them killing her blood line, torturing her.. All those years ago. The sting of newer memories filled her mind as she watched for the millionth time as her step mother was shot from the sky.. The demonic fox who had raised her.
Aya's black tail swished side to side angrily. Her wolf ears poked through her hair once again. She allowed her wings to emerge from her back, to keep her warm in the night as she continued to cut at the root. She was the wolf demon Alternate Aya, control of Fire.. No one would stand in her way. She promised herself she would bathe in their blood, slaughter the ones who had done so to her mother. Murder them like they had done to Tsuki

Cathina was following the truck when a flash of light from the forest lit up the area. "Run!" she shouted to her companions as the scattered. They would meet at the assigned position later, Cathina thought confidently as the truck roared away. The young woman dashed into the cover of the forest. Behind her, she could hear the dreaded maruaders chasing her friends. She bit her lip as she crouched behind a bush. Her brother was out there! This was his first time. She could only sit back and hope that the others would watch him. The sounds of pursuit faded away and Cathi stood up. First, she needed to see what had caused that light. That in mind, she went to find the source of the light

Aya thought she heard something. She quickly sent another of her help signals into the air, putting her dagger back in its sheath. She tried to move once again, failing miserably as pain once again shot through her leg.

Cathi gasped as she came upon a fox with wings trapped beneath a tree. "Incredible," she breathed as she inched closer to the fox. "It's okay," she said trying to keep her voice steady. "I'm not going to hurt you." She had to help the creature get out from beneath the tree but what if it attacked?
