Alchemy Specialization: The official description of her abilities is that, when she touches the transmutation circles on the bottoms of her sandals together, the metal stored underneath her sandals is transmuted into a pair of metal wings. The manner in which she does it also attatches to her muscles, making her fully capable of flight. Also, while this is active, she can spread her wings and shoot some of the metal feathers at high speed toward her opponent. This ability has no name, and when her alchemy is deactivated, she must transmute some more metal onto the bottom of her sandals. (After all, equivalent exchange is still in effect.) Currently, as her arms are of no use, she also uses her alchemy to move the arm-like metal rods that connect to her back and grab things. This, of course, takes quite a bit of energy, so she rests a lot.
Speaking of Equivalent Exchange, there is the little matter of the amount of metal present in her wings when they are active. There isn't hardly enough metal stored under her sandals to supply all of it. Very few people know about this, but Avalon actually supplements the material for her wings with her own bone marrow. This also explains why she is able to fly with said wings - regular bones are so dense with all the marrow that the wings required for any regular human to fly would have to be extraordinarily powerful. Birds don't have that problem because their bones are hollow; Avalon creates that scenario for herself by using her own. Of course, it comes with a price - bone marrow is the material in one's body that supplies new forces of white blood cells, so while she has her alchemy active she more easily succumbs to disease. Also, although she isn't trying to raise the dead, this could be considered human transmutation. Hence why it is a secret.

Bio: While in Lior doing some investigation, she came down with a disease which made her unable to react quickly. While there, she was stabbed in her arms, thus cutting the nerve cells in her arms, rendering her unable to use said arms. Currently, she uses some small transmutation circles activated by her toes to move small metallic arm-like rods when she needs to grab something. And when she isn't being cooped up in the hospital by her too-caring subordinates (and possibly her all-too-hyper CO, Maes Hughes), she is delving into alchemic textbooks, searching for some way to heal her nerve cells. After all, it wasn't her fault that they were sliced - perhaps there's a way to mend them.
Other: Major Avalon's debut was in the first chapter of the fanfiction Platinum Angel. For the sake of this roleplay, several details have been changed from their original versions - however, one thing still remains intact: May I stress that there are very few if any beings that know about the whole bone marrow thing. If anyone's character references it without permission to know about it, it will be considered god-moding and you will be punished approprately. (Receiving permission for such is actually quite easy - just send a PM asking if you can and wait until you get a reply. Unless there is a specific reason why not, your character will be allowed. ^-^)
