After much brainstorming and dancing around burning debris that fell on Ivyn's head so that he'd get to work, the amazing crew of Amped has come up with some easy to follow rules that will help keep us all grounded and literate.

.R.U.L.E.S.

exclaim This is a literate guild, meaning that no one liners will be accepted. EVER. No less than three sentences a post, and, please God, no more than 50.

exclaim NO GOD MODING! This is absolutely FORBIDDEN! You will be warned in the thread and if you continue afterwords, you'll be on strict probation.

exclaim Please allow other roleplayers time to post after you. No double posting unless it's a gaia glitch would be appreciated. If this happens more than once we will put you on probation. This is why the edit button was invented.

exclaim No killing without asking the player first. Also, please alert us in some way. Either post it in the OOC thread in red font, or put it in OOC so that we know that's what you wanted.

exclaim Please try your best to fix any noticeable spelling errors. It's okay to have a few misspelled words (there are probably a few in here), but if your post is full of them and it becomes difficult to understand, please try typing in a word program before posting.

exclaim Keep OOC to a minimum outside of the OOC thread.

exclaim Please keep swearing to a minimum. Regardless of whether or not it's part of your character, this is still a family sight. For the benefit of those with parents reading over their shoulder, please try not to do it often.

exclaim Gaia TOS will be followed at all times.

exclaim If I see anyone cybering, you'll be banned so fast it's not going to be funny. Your posts will be deleted and you won't be accepted again. EVER.

exclaim Only Guild Moderators have God-like powers. It will be easier for us to keep things in order that way. If you notice, there is more than one moderator, and so corruption is almost impossible before someone steps in. If you feel that something is unfair, please post it in the suggestion box and we will try to fix it.

Examples of God Moding are below.

Aimbot: Never miss a single attack no matter how hard it would realistically be.

Autohit: Rp that your attack has already hit your opponent in the same post the attack was initiated in.

Twink: Make a character with absurdly strong powers (ie. No Gokus, Supermen, etc.).

Mix-max: "Balance" your twink by giving him/her a totally stupid and easily exploited weakness. Note that if you don't twink, min-maxing is impossible.

Miss Cleo: Give your character knowledge that couldn't have been gained IC.

Ex. You're chasing somebody else's character. Your prey rounds a corner and hides in a box. Obviously your prey's controller would type this, and thus you would know where his/her character is. However, your character does NOT know this because he/she didn't see his/her prey hide in the box.

McFly: Do things in hindsight (hindsight means that you understand the nature of things as they happen).

Shoe Elf: Interact with others while said others aren't presant to do anything about it.

Speedhack: RP an absurdly time consuming sequence occuring between other people's actions, or rp a sequence of actions that is physically impossible for your character within the timeframe of a single post.

Ex. Doing 9 important things in a row, in one post. Other people would've reacted by the time you did the first, despite that according to the end of your post nobody would've reacted.

Oxymoron: Make a character that is completely impossible.

Baghdad Bobbit: Arbitrarily declare yourself as the winner of a fight, with an instant death attack.

((Alright, we know these names are pretty silly, especially Baghdad Bobbit. icon_xd.gif We didn't create these, okay? Bear with us.))

Gaseous Snake: Act before you start RPing.

Zoicite: Alter your character as needed for the situation.

Trinity: Instantly give your character abilities as he/she needs them, with no prior exposure or learning process whatsoever.

Quake: Give your character things that spawn from seemingly nowhere.

Munch: Assume somebody else's reaction instead of waiting for a response.

Ghost: Somehow let your character see/walk through walls because you don't pay attention to where he/she is.

We will know when you're doing these things, and they are completely unacceptable.
