I was cleaning up my room yesterday and thought that I should give it a total makeover ^__^ Right now the paint is baby blue, but the walls are covered with anime wallscrolls, posters, and pictures. ^^;
But I want to take it all down because all it is doing is collecting dust and I want the least amount of dust to clean!
But I need something on my walls. I hate bare walls xd
So I need some ideas. I was thinking something clever like, painting a gate on my door that leads to a pretty garden, and when you go in my room it's a garden where a Disney castle is with a bunch of the princesses? ^__^
I dunno...help!

If I could I would paint designs on my walls, like little vines & flowers and butterflys. Of course, seeing as I am not talented in the least and would get distracted very easily, I could never finish something like that Dx
You could always, you know, throw random paint balls at your walls and see where they land..?
[don't mind me right now, seeing as I'm veryvery tired and stressed out and can't think. grarghrhgrgg]

Haha that'd be cool. Maybe I could have a party with all my friends and give them paintbrushes and paint? eek

my mom just repainted my room (i dun like the smell of paint) but i helped her put the wallpaper border up.
we painted my room a light brown and a beige (kinda to match the colors of my .hack wallscroll and a poster of a chinese brush painting of bamboo)
i'm kinda going with a travel theme. my border has things like passports, the Eiffel Tower and the Colusium on it. And i got a bunch of dragon figure on display, some egyptian figures, a japanese fan, my anime junk and other stuff. And I got a fake tree xD it was on sale
I was thinking of doing Disney but i thought the colors would be too bright.
i don't really have any ideas for you but you can steal mine XD

I have a freind who did a Japanese room. it's really beauitful. Her carpet is white, and her walls are navy blue, and then she has these beautiful bright paper butterflies, and a few anime wall scrolls, and a red hanging latern, and some oriental china dolls. I really love it a lot.

If I really wanted to go Japanese.. I'd get wood floors.. and make the walls look like the paper walls... You know, I wanted a sliding door... but ah... my cats would tear it all up haha

You know, I wanted a sliding door... but ah... my cats would tear it all up haha haha! they would tear it up! >w<. hmm...if I were to continue you're garden idea, I would say, if you're not artistic, buy lots of pictures of paper bugs, and plants(or stickers), and put them, if you are artistic, paint your whole wall light blue, like the sky, then, on the bottom, make a brown straight line for dirt, or a green straight line for grass, then make plants grow out of it. and add animals like horses and such. and if you can draw the disney princesses, add them too, but I, personaly cant draw the princesses good gonk
