Story:
Long ago and far away, there existed a world called Dediera. On this planet there were very many countries in the land, one of which was Aleta. Aleta was a very peaceful and magical place, with forests full of sprites and fantastical creatures and a cozy villages nearby. But Aleta unfortunately bordered the country of Morian. Morian was a dark and evil place and had stayed ominously silent for more than a thousand years since the Great War that had shut it's gates. But now it's volcanoes and firey moutains were once more alive and evil stirred behind the dark gate. Word spread from the village on the border of the awakening through out Aleta, but it was too late. The evil contained behind the gates was released, and the first village fell into ruin by fire and evil bandits. One by one the villages began to all turn to either ash or enslaved and death came with the bandits. Finally only four villages close to the magical forests remained untouched. But the evil didn't stop there, it came to finish it's work. On the night that the bandits attacked the first of the four villages, the villagers were prepared, but uneasy. A woman called Helen sat by her hearth, watching over her infant daughter when she heard the first clanging of swords as the bandits attacked. The baby began to cry and Helen held her close to comfort her. Her husband Jonathan came running into the house,"Take the baby and run Helen!", he said urgently as he closed the door so the bandits couldn't get in. Helen took her daughter and ran out the back door to the back of the house. She turned around a corner and watched as the bandits closed in on Jonathan. Jonathan fought bravely, but in the end the bandits were too many for him and he was killed before Helen's own eyes. The bandits then caught sight of her and walked towards her. She ran and they gave chase. Helen ran to the cliffs at the edge of the village and found herself caught between the bandits and the waterfall. The bandits smiled evily as they closed in on her now. Helen looked at them then at the waterfall. Just as they were about to grab her, she clasped her baby to her and leapt off the cliffs and down the waterfall. The bandits looked about but there was no sign of her, so they left her for dead. But Helen was alive and she came to the surface gasping for air with her daughter still alive in her arms. She got to the bank where the forest lay and she stumbled ashore. She was very weak and near death, but she continued on into the forest. She collapsed on her knees in a clearing. Then there was a tinkling and colored orbs of light and sprites and fairies came out to the dying woman. Helen saw them and with the last of her strength held out her daughter to them,"Please take her and keep her safe..raise her as one of your own..", she said in her last dying breath. The sprites took the baby and nodded their assent as the woman died peacefully. They took the baby to their queen, where the baby was given a name,"We shall call thee Elina..", the queen said. That was 17 years ago, and now Morian completely rules Aleta with an iron fist. But now rumors spread of a hero who can save the land and return Morian behind it's shadowy gates forever. Elina has reached 17 and the sprites are ready to let her back into the real world outside the forest. They know she has a destiny to fufill, but it's up to her to chose her own path. This is the story of Changling!
