It's morning now, and it's been a full night since the mysterious green coyote-wolf creature S'ev showed up at Jestari's door. The very same door which opened now, letting two creatures bearing scrolled messages around their necks into the still-wet time of early daylight, the rising sun dying their respective furs an orangey hue.

One of the creatures, S'ev, departed into the shadows with his messages, heading for the house of some girl Jestari had named as Chinchillie, whoever that was. The girl was disturbed from her activities by a scratching on the door and a yapping bark at her door- as Jestari had been- to find the letter S'ev had been bearing on the front porch and, if she were fast enough, the creature's retreating form as he headed back to Jestari's home.

The other creature that had been loosed bearing the news was of a more familiar sort- a .exe, from the shop that sold such tech-organic animals in Durem. This one, Bryan, made a little swifter time, being somewhat smaller than S'ev. The humans he'd been sent to - Yakobi and one Ary Keeyara - were disturbed in a slightly different way.. The feline creature settled for a piercing yowl of the cat kind, waiting for the girls to answer the door and relieve him of his burdens before taking off again without a word.

By some stroke of luck it wasn't the owner of Hampster House that opened the door, but a small, bleary eyed and bushy tailed chinchilla with a letter bin permanently affixed to its back. Naturally, being a mail-chin born and bred, it didn't quite trust a letter sent before noon. Things like that always led to trouble. Things like that hunk of rock that showed up a year ago, and look where that led...

It slipped out the doggie door just in time to see S'ev, his green tail disappearing a moment later into the deep morning shadows. Yikes! Snatching up the letter, the chin dove back into safety - to deliver it quickly, of course. Not because it was scared. Never! A leap over Remma's tail, a swerve away from the kitchen, where someone was busy stuffing his or her face, and the steps were clear. It faithfully scampered through the open bedroom door to deliver its message.



"Hmpph. Won't reg~regret it." Ariel complained thickly through a yawn. "S'too late for that." Too late. Haha. Waaay too early, more like. In a way one had to envy morning people. Sitting upright, she eyed the ever alert chinchilla staring back at her, seemed to remember what it was there for, and ungraciously waved a hand to dismiss it.

After several minutes' grumbling, a shower, and a cup of steamy tea, she was a bit readier to tackle this. Drawing up a chair in the kitchen (which was thankfully empty by now), she stared down at the letter lying flat on the table, letting it sink in, slowly, like water into a sponge; not a very flattering comparison, but that's what she felt like in the mornings. Darby had said something about a "'Trus" guy when she got back from that trip with Mongoose. Was this the same one? Something about TV books and giant cougars and talking caves - normal Darby stuff. Nothing to take seriously.

Still...'Might as well.' Like the chinchilla, it wasn't like she was really eager to go on an adventure or anything, with heart-pounding anxiety and all. It may not even be anything. That thought retained dignity, which was sorely needed when you slipped out of your own house like a thief, several critters dodging about your ankles and a pack stuffed with odds and ends in your hands. 'Might as well.'

S'ev scratched at Jestari's door again, the wooden fixture opening to admit the shaggy green t'adrith almost immediately by the girl he'd been hired to protect.

"Did you deliver the letter?" Now, Jestari wasn't usually a morning person. Far from it. But when you get news like she'd gotten last night and the prospect of travelling to an Age called Terrata, it was hard to stay sleepy. In response to her, S'ev only assumed an expression saying 'and you think I didn't?' and stared at her.

"Right, sorry." The girl grinned apologetically, to which the t'adrith only chuffed.

Bryan nodded to both Inoe and Ary genially, glad that they seemed to be morning people. "Good morning...I'm here to deliver a message from Jestari to you. She's babbling all sorts of nonsense about Myst, some man named Atrus, and things like that. So I assume it's important." He shrugged a little, even though he was as curious as the cat he was modelled after about this 'Age' thing. "So if you'd take one of the messages from around my neck..? I need to deliver one more, too."

((Hm.. If you're going to run into them, why don't you come in either when they're all at my place, or heading out (somewhereXD;; ) to do the linking thing. XD ))

Ary gave a nod, reaching out with soft fingers to brush his head and then untie the note from his neck. She straightened once it was in her grasp and smiled sweetly at him, "Thank you, Bryan." Moving her thumb along the crease she slowly opened the letter, her eyes trailing to the text.



She raised a brow, easily noticing Inoe peeking over her shoulder at the note, "Sounds like she's excited about...whatever this is..." Her gaze drifted to her .exe who was getting her puppy-dog eyes, obviously wanting to come along. "Alright, you can come, but you have to behave, alright?"
