The pope scolded Canada for allowing Same-Sex marriage and Abortion.

That's actually really upsetting. Not that I particularily care what he has to say, but it's just that the Conservatives in power. With their religion and traditional family values, what the Pope has to say could actually influence them. Not only might the government itself feel the need to change it, a majority of the Christian citizens may revoke against the government until they do.

You know i read that in the western star (our news paper) there in saturdays edition. this is why the church miffs me. and harper is such a total ****-ing **** for brains. il be so glad when someone replaces him

Nothing will happen. Canada is too diverse a nation to allow it to go back to the way it was. Our acceptance of diversity is what makes us different. To take back what we were already given is very un-Canadian. What will they try to take back next? Womens rights? You may say it's obserd but there are countries still without proper women's rights, never mind the rights for those of different sexual prefrence. And don't say "it's not the same thing" Because WOMEN ARE JUST AS HUMAN AS MEN WHO ARE JUST AS HUMAN AS HOMOSEXUALS!
