Have you had the conference on the ragnarok yet? If so, just fly into the Lunatic Pandora, and you will get a movie and the story will move forward. Be ready for a boss fight.

Ram into Lunatic Pandora with Ragnarok

I'd cast Regen and then Shell on Rinoa to keep her alive and then use magic and attacks to beat Adel. But make sure to keep Rinoa alive, which is difficult to do if you use GFs.
