okay, apparently namco has announced xs:2 american release for februrary. most stores are saying between the 12th and the 20th, and so im going to pick a tueday between those dates, which is the 14th! (aw...valentines day!) so...from this date, um...october...2! october second...xs 2 comes out in 2 months and 12 days!

Feburay is 2 months away from DECEMBER. It's more like 4 months.

Well, most of the fans have been waiting nearly two years, whats another 4 months ?*is trying to make herself feel better but is failing....* Long wait...yes...but I'm sure it'll be worth it.

*sniffle* I'm in the middle of replaying the Japanese version and it's making me even more impatient - I want to know what they're saying! T.T I can tell that something interesting is going on but I don't know what it means. *twitch* And the G2 quest I'm on is EVIL, it goes a little something like this: talk to robot, go 6-7 areas away from said robot, talk to random dude, go back to where the robot was, click the button, wait, wait, wait, click the button again, wait, wait, wait, click the button again, wait, wait, wait, click the button again, wait, wait, wait, click the button again, wait, wait, wait, go 6-7 screens back and talk to the random guy again, go back to the robot, click the button, wait, wait....and so forth. I'm on my eight repeat and I still haven't passed it! >.<
Oh I do hope the rumors are true and Namco announces an early release in December.

Yeah, I heard so too (too lazy to post it in the news sticky though). I wasn't horribly upset when I first heard since I thought it was only Shion (don't get me wrong I thought her original dub actress pulled it off just fine but I could understand the change) and then I heard that they're changing chaos and MOMO! chaos was dead on in comparison to his Japanese voice in e1 and MOMO's voice worked perfectly for her (I can't imagine who they got to replace either of them). And they didn't replace Jr.'s VA! scream Brianne did a good job in e1 but I have serious doubts about her ability to pull off some of the scenes in e2 without making me roll around on the floor laughing and cursing Namco for being stupid (she uses a really - weird maybe? - voice when she plays him that I just can't imagine sounding good in some of the really serious scenes). Ah well, at least I'll have my pretty Xeno Emission E1 by the end of next week to distract me. Oh and something else - there's a 30sec commercial spot type thing on Namco's site right now (I don't know the link off hand - I'll look it up later) the only dubbing that is shown is the reporter at the beginning so it's not particularly helpful as far as judging the dub is concerned.

My goodness, I was really looking forward to seeing the old Shion play with her new looks. This will truly be depressing, thank goodness they arn't getting rid of KOS-MOS' voice actor, that will just totally kill the game I believe.
And about Jr. and MOMO being changed? Well I can understand why MOMO's voice actress would be changed because she does a good deal of voice acting especially in anime shows. MOMO's voice actor played as Shilinda in FFX and FFX-2, not only that, MOMO's voice actor played as Sasami from Tenchi Muyo. She's a renowned voice actor, I think someone offered her much a few bigger bucks then Xenosaga.
Jr.'s voice actor too is a well renowned voice actor, he could very well be busy too, I forget which anime's and game's he stars in... It's all a bit unclear to me now. Rest asure that Wilhelm is going to stay the same most likely, unless they are not finished with dubbing the Rurouni Kenshin episodes ^<^ Ziggy will stay the same most likely too... as for chaos... >>;;;; I think he'll stay the same ^^
It really depends on the popularity of the voice actor.
