A few games I suggest, Wild Arms 3, an awesome game, Wild Arms 4 is O.K! but the story and leveling up system can use a lot of work! I haven't played any other games in the series yet. Another game I strongly suggest, is Grandia, it is one of the best games I’ve ever played, Grandia 2 is also a great game, but it’s a little morbid, Grandia 3, is great, but the other characters only show up during battles and cut scenes. The Secret of Mana, or Seiken Densetsu series is another one of the best, Seiken Densetsu 3, is the greatest game ever made, sadly never released in the U.S. and I also suggest Atelier Iris Eternal Mana, (not to be confused with Secret of Mana) is an awesome game, very funny, I don’t think I’ve seen an anime, or played a game, that this game didn’t have a voice from.
as for games with good cut scenes, Wild Arms 4, has some good ones. Wild Arms 3 has anime at the openings, and it changes as the story progresses. Megaman X8, has some, for some reason a lot of people complain about this game, I don’t know why, since I practically own the whole series, and I think its one of the best. Megaman X4, has some awesome cut scenes, but the dubbing is horrible, one of the reasons why I like X8, is because they used Ocean Group, the same studio that dubbed Inuyasha. Sonic CD, for the Sega CD and PC, has some cool scenes. Atelier Iris has anime at the opening, I haven't played the sequel yet, but its suppose to have anime cut scenes.

char. creation is an effective way to sell a game, but not what attracts me. I stick with the good soundtrack. How is it supposed to affect you internally without true music like in kingdom hearts? def. sound track. Not into longer levels cuz I personally don't have the time for them.

Actually, I like the character creation feature, as long as it has everything you need, the truth is that I have a hundred character ideas in my head that I’d like to put down, the problem is most games with character creations lack a lot of needed features!

Take soul calibur 3 for example. that supposedly "unlimited" possibities needs wayyy more options.

Take soul calibur 3 for example. that supposedly "unlimited" possibities needs wayyy more options. A Perfect Example!!! Soul Calibur 3 is a great game, but it has several problems, one is that in character creation it has a lot of junk your never going to use, and doesn't have a lot of stuff that you will. Because of this you have to go with what they have, and in some cases, that’s not much. And some outfits have colors you cant change. They also don’t have a lot of weapon techniques that they should, two character use a sword and shield, another character uses an ax and shield, all this and character techniques has another sword and shield! Why did they make so many of that particular technique? There are a lot of weapons they don’t need, example, knife and bomb, why not a knife and whip? The other problem is that they have a god mode glitch that happens every now and then, in soul arena there is a round where you have to fight Cassandra, Sophitia, and Colossus, when fighting Cassandra, she’s practically invincible, the only effective attacks are kicks, and some characters have terrible kicks, its so annoying! Phantasy Star Universe look cool though, you can even choose ear types!

I found that the longer the game is running, the more likely it will go into god mode! Oh and another problem it has, is that sometimes it will corrupt the data for your game, it did that the first time I played it, and I had to restart everything!

Abgout Wild Arms, the second one was really the best, it had a really good plot and some awesome characters. Actually, you might notice that the anime of Wild Arms is loosely based off of the second game. Well, at least, Marivel/Maribel is the same. She seems to be all ofver in Wild Arms, although she's only a playable character in WA2. She also does make an appearance in Wild Arms 3 throug the children's novels, which I happen to enjoy a lot, plus thay made me like Marivel a lot more. That's sort of not the point though. in WA2 you had more than one party's worth of charaters, a variety of guns, and different types of magic. Plus, as I said, the story is awesome. The graphics are abit dated by now, but the character designs are still good, and... well... the characters in general are pretty loveable.
Also, as far as I've heard, the First WA is better than Alter Code F. Even though Alter Code F does have more characters in it, it's storyline differs a bit for that reason, and the combat has changed quite a bit. Mostly because the ARMs are special attack exclusives anymore. Rudy is actually supposed to use knives/swords most of the time, then you can bust out the Hand Cannon, assault orbs, lasers, and what not on bosses.
On the Topic of Atlear Iris, there's actually like four game of the Iris series. As far as the Atlier series in general goes... there's like... at least eight,

I know about the other games such as Atelier Marie, and Lillie. But Gust never made a U.S release of them. So I didn’t include them. As for the other games in the Iris series, I only have the first, but I’m looking forward to getting the rest in the future. As for Wild Arms. I haven't played the original or the second game yet. I have: Wild Arms: Alter Code F it’s a good game, they kept the originals opening it has better graphics and it uses the Wild Arms 3 battle system. I also have: Wild Arms 3 its one of my favorite games, it’s a lot of fun, I like the characters, and they hold true to the western theme. I’ve also beaten it. And I have: Wild Arms 4 this is an O.k game, but it lacks the western style of its predecessors. Instead it has more of a 1970s style, which I hate. The battle system is good, but the leveling up process is slow. Real Slow! Its so slow, that earlier enemies can give you trouble. Level:50, is practicaly the same as, Level:20. And I have: Wild Arms: Twilight Venom (Wild Arms TV) A great show! Think Outlaw Star meets Trigun.

Twighkight Venomreally wasn;t my style... and as far as WA4's leveling up goes, there are certain enemies, such as greater demons, that are hard to beat, but'll give you like... if I'm remembering right... somthing like 20,000 exp a pop... or was it 100,000? O.o I dunno, I killed a lot of those though, and gained a couple of levels each time I did. The only way I could figure out how to hurt them was poison them though... and they killed any of my characters in one hit... >.> Well... another way to get EXP is beat extra bosses too. >.< Yulie does become the most broke character ever after she can start reviving with her Material/Summons. >.> I used that every turn since I was too low of a level to take on certain things.By the time you get back to Yulie's turn you'll be at max FP again. >.<

She was easy to beat. The thing that makes WA4 so annoying. Is that it depends on where you and the enemy start in the battle. Sometimes its extremely easy, and sometimes your dead where you stand. But biggest problem was the story.

Yeah, the story's pretty weak, and the ending is far from satisfactory. I basically just like the hex system as well as the fact J.C. Staff worked on it.
