Has anyone every been in a culb or organization like the boy scouts. I found my old boy scouts oath and law coin. I'm still trying to figure out the purpose of memorizing those. Please discuss.

あのう・・・I've been in girl scouts and participated in your boy scout activities when they let me. (Which was most of the time.) What would I choose on the poll?

You weren't actually a boy scout though....

I still did a lot in it though. I never got anything (but I didn't care anyways).

That is not what I asked. You were a girl scout, and you weren't a boy scout; it doesn't matter weather or not you participated.

I did girl scouts for several years (1st grade through 4th). I went to camp a few summers, too. But, that's it for me.

I went to girl scouts for less than a year. It was way too girly. We didn't learn anything. It wasn't fun. It sucked.

That's why I prefer mucking out horse stalls at 6AM. Get it? Got it? Good.

Exactly as I feel.

I didn't enjoy it, either. Camp was fun, but I was 7 years old. And the other times were only fun because I had a couple of friends there.

How strange. Survival camp was when I was older, but we learned TONS of stuff, a lot of which has stuck to me to this day. I wonder if it's the area you're in or something.

Hermonie's girl scouts was all arts and crafts and the one time they went on a "camp" they stayed in a trailer house for a night with a bed, stove, refrigerator, and a decent bathroom.

*cringe* Yeah...we didnt do that. We camped out a LOT and we did it without tents sometimes. It was never luxurious, and rarely had any sort of bathroom other than one you dug yourself. I think we did arts and crafts, what, four times total?

Ya'll already know I plan to live like that (no tents and everything). The only arts and crafts I'm doing is writing, wittling, and hand-sewing.

Hand sewing will be the hard one, especially if you dont intend to buy the thread and faberic. Good luck with that one though. It takes a lot ot survive without anything, and it can be pretty deadly. If you get sick, no modern medicine, etc.
