What do they know? wink

Anyway, my favorite character is probably Ed or something, he's just too funny. And my favorite scene is also the one with the luau. That was hilarious. I love 'The Lion King', one of my favorites, although I thought the second one was better.

I know pretty much all songs from both the 'Lion King' and 'Lion Kind: Simba's pride'. My favorite song is 'Deception', the one the animals sing when Kovu's being exciled.

I like the "Deception" song...though it was sad...still good harmony & stuff. My favorite scene is the opening of the 1st Lion King.

Dude, yeah! When Beauty and the Beast came out in IMAX, they had a preview for the IMAX Lion King that was just the entire opening sequence with "Circle of Life" on the gigantic screen. My friends and I were squealing, and when it finished we cheered. The entire theater thought we were nutters. That is one of the coolest things ever to see on IMAX.

Wo! Lion King ^_^ it ish awesome! I love the music to both Lion King one and 2 and my fav characters would be... Timon and Scar... but I also like Rafiki. My favorite scene is probably .. hm.. the scene where the music "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" is playing. My least fav scene was when Mufasa was up on the ledge of the rock and Scar was holding on to his paws and then he let go and .. Mufasa died crying I cried so bad... I still cry -_- meh... and then when Scar told Simba to run away and never come back... I cried then too...<_< heh... sweatdrop anyways... o_o so yeah ^_^ w00t! Lion King rawks

Love The Lion King! I always loved Nala, really, and Mufasa... and favorite scene? Hmm... the end, when Simba returns to pride rock and becomes king. Lion King 2? Love it too!

i watched lion king back in the 2nd grade, and its one of my favorite disney movies. my favorite characters are timon and pumbaa, i think they make a fantastic duo.

what is most amazing about the movie is the fact that the animals are so well-drawn. i've been on a night safari (singapore) and the animals that i've seen - elephants, hyenas, lions, gazelles, etc. - really remind of those in the movie.

my family and i watched the broadway musical back in spring 2000. they stuck to the original script and songs. and the managed to portray all the animals with their movements and sheer number. eek

lion king may be, like many disney movies, musical and animated. but its themes are certainly enjoyed by adults. so its no surprise that the movie was a hit back in the 90's. lion king is definitely a disney classic.

With Lion King, they actually brought animals into their studios for the animators to study. eek

I enjoyed one and two, but I haven't seen the one and a half yet. :S Anyone know if it was any good?

I loved all the music for both of them, except for that stupid love song Rafiki sings in the second one.

*shudders* Stupid.

Ah, you mean 'Upendi'? blaugh That was pretty ridiculous. And I heard that Lion King 3 is pretty funny, although it has like no point whatsoever.

One and a half is really funny and kind of interesting. It basically looks at the whole first movie over again from the perspective of Timon and Pumbaa. And the dvd extra features are hilarious.

The broadway show rocks! It was absolutely amazing the way they brought the animals to life on stage. Sometimes, it was easy to forget there were people inside those puppets. I think it's coming back to my town this spring, and I'm gonna try and get tickets again...
