Absyinthe Isle Information Working on it...
In no way related to the alcohol 'absinthe'.
My 'Absyinthe' came about just as I'd got into bed. I suddenly had this great word slip into my head. I got so aggitated at creating a word I like so much I had to get out of bed and write it down. I then decided this would be where my character and her unicorns lived. A few days later I found out that 'absinthe' was a strong alcohol and deduced that I'd know the word at one point and forgotten it and when it reappeared I had forgotten the meaning and thought I'd created it. Now it seems to appear everywhere, just to remind me of my stupidity and I like it too much to change it. X.x

Personality: Destiny is overall very optimistic, stubborn and bright. Etc..
History: Destiny has lived a full life. Her father is a rich, important man in the world of Gaia. Thus Destiny has lived on her family's large estate for most of her life in the company of her parents' exclusive horse stock, many canine companions and of course her eight brothers.
Notes: Destiny was my first real R.P. character and thus is slightly God-moded. x.x; She began life as a black horse, becoming a wolf with amber eyes and eventually human.

Festival: The Complete Story
This is the full story, because my mind works like that. I just need a full story to map everything out. Originally it was much shorter, just me finding her but I was joking around with myself and I made up this huge story. Sorry, I can't write short stories. x.xDestiny was relatively suprised to find a letter on her doormat with the illegible scroll that was her elder brother, Adventure-Courage's.
Adventure-Courage's (or Courage-Adventure's) perculiar name was the result of her parents, who were unable to choose between Adventure and Courage and spent the first few days of his life switching between the two. Eventually they decided that he should have the ability to be named either or both. Destiny and her other brothers commonly refered to him as 'Ace', which was derived from A.C..
Destiny opened it excitedely and attempted to derive the letters, reading aloud. "To my dearest Dest. No sparing on the ink Ace?" She added her own commentry. "I would like to... To invite you you to the upcoming Festival on... Well, it would help if I knew where I'm going. G... Gambino? Gambino Island this coming Spring. Myself and Liberty shall be there. We look foreward to your coming. Meet us on Gambino's Estate's balcony. Liberty... Oh Ace - I can't read that!" She skipped several lines and read the last. "Yours hopefully Ace." She finished with a smile. "I feel sorry for the post man." A quiet thud from the kitchen diverted her attention and she left the letter on the window ledge to see what the hasle was.
Unsuprisingly, for her at least, she found Excalibur and Gypsy nudging a chair towards the bench in search of the new location of the sugar. "No!" She said firmly, swatting the Unicorns' ruby flanks and taking the chair back to its original place. "Have an apple," She said with a more cheerful tone. "It's healthier." She grinned, traversing the floor and bringing back a pair of cold, homegrown apples from the fridge. "I know it's no pot of sugar but your teeth'll dissolve if you eat anymore." She said sympathetically. "I don't suppose you'd be interested in coming to Gambino with me?" Gypsy whickered happily, gripping one apple tightly with her inciscors from Destiny's outstreched hand. "I thought so." She grinned.
A few days later Destiny had succusfully packed her bags and found her Air stallion Thane, with varying levels of help from her Fire Unicorns. Thane was intensley interested in anything that was and the behaviour of his human counterparts was no exception. The opitunity to watch them interact at their most social was one not to be missed. Gargoyle and Never were a lot less open to human crowd interaction, Destiny knew. She would not trouble the loners who dwelled almost independantly on Casil Mountain, a dormant volcano.
The ferry ride to the Main Land took over a day. Destiny was able to spend the time drawing, writing, reading and just plain old thinking but the Unicorns found themself becoming increasingly bored and slightly sea sick. The weather was amazingly fair, with occasional showers to add to the Fire Unicorns' despair - they weren't allowd in the cabins and Destiny wasn't all too happy to have them in the dark, damp cargo hold.
Within thrity six hours the grogy trio and their enthusiastic owner had all feet firmly on dry land, unfortunately in crowded pre-Festival Gambino there was very little of it. People were bustling past them toward the Island at great speed. Venders had set up on the peer and Island dancers were handing wreathes out to any person they could reach. The young lady soon found herself necked with one containing many pink and yellow flowers - the smell climbing slowly into her nostrils - which she had to fight to keep Gypsy off.
Destiny and the Unicorns devised a box like shape to walk through the crowds without any of the small equines being carried off and caused a great comotion when they reached Gambino's Mansion.
"Well, I can't just leave them." "But Miss, the balcony if for humans." The porter was saying in a high, nasily voice. "They can stay in the garden if you like?" Thane whinned, Destiny gave an awkward lopsided smile. "Sorry, Thane." She ruffled his mane and looked back to the porter, who she thought had an unusually long, pointed nose and a ridiculous maroon and violet uniform. "All right," She said, giving Excalibur's nose a quick stroke before assending the stairs.
After a few minutes, Destiny was little suprised to see Thane awkwardly hovering in front of her. She chuckled and let him sit on the floor beside her at the far end of the balcony, which was very cowded. Bright carnival colours adorned each member of the fray and Destiny's flowery dress was no acception.

She spent the following minutes watching the crowd milling about below the balcony. Time continued to drift by until she was aware that they had been on the balcony for almost half an hour without any sign of her brothers. Within moments of the thought a dark blue figure began to bob through the field of luminous shirts and hats. The dark hair of her brother Liberty wavering above it as he squeezed between the balcony memebers. "Bert!" Destiny let out a shout. "Des!" He repiled, tacklinig the last of the crowd and giving her a light hug. "You wright like a chimpanzee." [Note to self: Bert / Ace mix up here. o.O; Some re-writing will be required] She said with a grin. Thane danced eagerly beside her, her light dress flapping at his face. "Errr... You know you shouldn't bring pets on the balcony." He grinned back a little, perfect white teeth with slightly pronounced canines, just like dad, just like Destiny, just like the majority of her eight brothers. "Oh, he's not a pet!" She smiled back. "Whatever you say but we're going to have to go now." He said. "Oh, Bert, he's not doing anything." Destiny looked down at the sky blue Unicorn who was looking back up in full understanding. "No, no. There's a problem with the Festival Queen. We're trying all we can but nothing's working." He said glumly, turning. Destiny rolled her unusal dark eyes with the amber streaks and told Thane she'd meet him in the garden. They'd hardly moved an inch when they caught sight of Adventure-Courage floundering through the crowd. "Oh dear," Liberty muttered. "Cour! Over here!" Destiny jumped for a moment, waving. Her brother seemed to be troubled by something. At the sight of his younger sister bobbing between the flowerspeckled heads he almost leaped over them. "My little Dese!" He almost squeeled, giving her a huge overpowering hug. "Little Dese? Errr, Ace?" Destiny squeaked from somewhere inside his black shirt. Destiny's family contained nine male members, none of which took an interest in anything that was under-masculine - Destiny'd found she was very much a tom-boy thanks to their influences. Destiny found the constriting hug to be out of character, even for Ace who was one of her softer brothers. "Lib, can you peel him off me?" Came the muffled shock response. "Awww! Look at that! How cute!" Adventure had spotted Thane, who was somewhere between an awkward departure and uneasy return. Thane resented being cute and gave his best snort without loosing concentration and balance. [Slightly out of character for Thane to. x.x] "Thane doesn't usually like that abjective." The smothered Destiny chirpped before finally being set free. "O.K. tough guy," Liberty was saying whilst pulling back his brother's arms. "Think we'd better go find somewhere for you to sit... No, I don't want a hug." Destiny stood in total bewilderment as Liberty frog marched Ace through the crowd, struggling against him as he tried to point out the cute kid with a giant lollipop. In a star-struck fashion she followed after.
Another day. Night rather. x.x
Destiny and her Unicorns trailed behind Liberty and Ace as they trooped through several deserted back streets to avoid crowds. Partly because it was easier and partly because Ace's unpredictable outbursts were attracting unwanted attention and getting entirely out of hand.
They eventually arrived a the top of a deserted main street, the crowd billowing a short distance off. Liberty spoke to few guards who were looking menacingly at the bulging crowd. One of the guards gave Destiny an almost suspicious, slightly interested glance and nodded. Ace had had Gypsy in a full hug since Liberty had let him go before entering the large, decorated street. Gypsy didn't mind the attention and although she didn't understand his words she knew they were complements but she was begining to get uncomforatble. Excalibur was begining to feel this was an unsafe situation for his companion but the occasional warning nudges to the human's lags seemed to result in him trying to bundle the stallion up too, so he was keeping at bay. Destiny looked on and smiled.
