Well, it was the last episode I saw so why not discuss it? Spoilers shall be abound, I do guess so, so watch out for them... because they shall not be demoned away.
Discuss
~ What will Ooishi's role be this time?
~ How will this fit with the first arc?
~ Evil bad Rina and Satoko's uncle biting the dust.
~ Anything else - like no Shion appearances ^.^;;
Well, I think this was actually a gory episode for me. Seeing Rina's bloody, knocked up teeth and the huge gaping gash in Satoko's uncle (Teipei, is it spelled?) was... ew.
Ooishi's got that smug little smirk on... Meddling again, instead of trying to help, are we? stare
Still can't say how this'll fit with the first arc even though I am told that it shows what went wrong there... but with 3 episodes left, I'll be biting my nails (how ironic...) with anxiety.

Those two deserved what they got! Axe in the skull and all! I would have so hugged Rena for that!
I was sad when Rina was beatin up Rena!!!! crying Good thing Rena has good pipe-wilding skills! XD
I don't see this going with the first arc AT ALL. Keiichi was surprised about the murders in Hinamizawa in the first arc and if he's surprised this time around he's an idiot!

Humm. Good epi I think. : D This arc is my favorite so far and we're only two episodes in! Haha, it shocks me I like it more than Satoko's arc... >.>;; That one was just cool. And all about Satoko. So bonus points for it.
Am I the only one who noticed the art-style or animation change in this one? Maybe i'm just hallucinating or too tired from school or something, but it seems to me like the style has gotten a bit more vibrant in colour and the animation has gotten slightly better, though some of the faces were a bit awkward now and then. A nice improvement I think (if it's really there). Or maybe it's been evolving in the series the whole time and I just haven't noticed 'till now. Hurr... I dunno.
I'm hoping in the later episodes we'll get to see more of that philosophy Rena seems to got going there. That whole "do whatever you can to achieve happiness" thing. It sounds sort of nifty to me... but I like deep meanings in stories. Stuff like that... stuff you have to think about the characters personalities and morals before you actually get it.
Anyway... it was good. xD I have yet to get sick of watching the opening. Most anime i'll skip through the opening after about six episodes. I have yet to do it once here. <3

The opening is a gorgeous one. Neh, when I first saw the opening, I so thought the anime would be about Hinamizawa surrounded by some magical forest with killer creatures in it sweatdrop It's the vibe that forest gives.
Those two do deserve the axe for all the pain they've caused domokun I woulda hugged Rena-chan too... once she put down the pipe and machete, of course sweatdrop
To me, the animation looks pretty good compared to the rest of the series. The face contorts aren't so extreme (what the heck did the last arc keep doing to my face?! gonk )
Well, as far as connecting this with the first arc... it took to the third episode in the last one for the connection to be made between that particular one and the second. So, here's hoping!

I'm in love with the Benny Higurashi videos on YouTube. So addicting-ly funny rofl Higurashi needs those kinds of funny videos...
But I guess a good scary video is mandatory. This is Higurashi, after all 3nodding

Anybody else realize that Keiichi is a hippocrite?
He goes preaching to Rena when she kills to b***h-faces without telling anyone when hee killed one doing the exact same thing!!!
Oh but wait, His wasn't as bad as he only killed one b***h-face.

Well this arc doesn't really tie in with the first arc...Though Rena is going through what Keiichi was going through in the first arc I believe......Though in the next 2 arcs all your questions shall be answered!!!

Acually, as I've said many times, we don't get the last TWO chapters yet. Meaning, we won't know the truth. It's understandable, since they're still new, and it takes time to make an anime.
Sheesh Shiyon, you made them showing what happened to Teppei sound alot worse then it was.. It was cool though.
They were so accepting, I wonder if it was really her dillusion, however, Keiichi is pretty calm (except in the first chapter) so it wouldn't be completely out-of-character for him.

Well, in all honesty, I'm not a fan of horror at all. I'm pretty squimish when it comes to blood in real life or when it comes to anime and movies. Ironic since I made it through Higurashi.... and that I love Shion so much. ninja sweatdrop

They might be making it right now, it's understandable, the game that acually reveals the truth came out December 2005, and the last one came out August this year. It takes time to make anime, I was just saying they're not coming out yet cry
