Sakura looked out her apartment window and smiled.
"So many sunny days this summer!" she exclaimed.
Then Naruto came out from the bedroom. "Is everything all right Sakura-chan?" he asked while yawning.
"Yes, Naruto, everything's just fine!" Sakura replied. She rolled her eyes.
"Oh... all right! If you say so."
Sakura sighed as Lee walked out of the building across from her. She waved at him in her admiration.
"Um... Sakura?" Naruto looked confused.
Sakura came back to the world and looked at Naruto. "Huh?"

Lee looked at Sakura just as she was looking away. He frowned and sighed and continued walking to Gai's house. He was going to continue training today. He recovered from the major incident two years ago and now, he was happy and excited about training.
'Sakura will have to come later,' he thought. 'As for now, I have training!'

"Hurry up! We have to go meet Kakashi-sensei for our training today! We're going to learn a new technique," Naruto exclaimed.
Sakura groaned. She didn't feel up to seeing Sasuke today. It was weird because she had always had a crush on him. 'That was three years ago...' she thought. 'I don't know who I like!'
"Are you going to leave later?" Naruto asked.
Sakura nodded in reply and sighed.

Lee eventually arrived in the area of the forest. But, he did not see Gai. All he saw were trees, their leaves, grass and bare ground.
'Gai-sensei must be late' he thought. He decided to kick a large tree to strengthen his legs.
"So you start training without me?" a voice asked.
"Gai-sensei!" Lee exclaimed. He was so happy to see his sensei and finally be able to train with him again.

Sakura got up and slowly walked towards the door. She paused after reaching the door and took a deep breath. She wondered if Sasuke ever liked her and if he did, does he still like her? She exhaled and opened the door with a small turn of the knob. After training she would be going to an all girls party after that!

Lee and Gai trained for about two hours together. They enjoyed this session more than any sessions they had trained, probably because sensei and genin were reunited.
"So... am I still as good as I use to be?" Lee asked.
"Of course you are! You were always good!" Gai said, almost offended.
"Well, that's good, because I'm going to challenge Gaara again and this time I will beat him!" Lee exclaimed.
"But... Lee! You can't just go challenging a foe that has just recently crushed you!" Gai explained.
"That was three years ago! I'm stronger now! I promise!" Lee cried. "Please tell me that you have hope in me; tell me that I can beat him!"
"Y-you can... beat him," Gai hesitated in saying this. "But, Lee... I do wonder... why are you going to challenge him again?"
"To prove that I am stronger and also to win Sakura's love!" Lee shouted in reply.

'You're almost there, Sakura! You can't turn back now!' she thought to herself. 'It's only Sasuke-kun from a little while ago...'
Her fists tightened and she frowned. 'He has only come back from training in the village of sound...' tears dripped from her face. She couldn't help but cry at what Sasuke-kun had done. Especially, since he betrayed the entire Konoha village.
It was only a few more blocks away before she would meet up with Naruto and Kakashi-sensei... and Sasuke. 'Although he's not Sasuke-kun anymore!' she thought.
