Okay, with spoilers to episode 23 in regard, we all know that Rina bites the dust. Her cause of death? Metal pipe bashing to the face.
Let's back up to Satoko's arc in the beginning where we meet with the corpse in the river of the housing(?) complex. Recognize anything familiar about that certain pink/lavender haired punk from Rena's arc? There's a star tatoo on the abdomen quite similar to Rina's.
So, the question from Detective Shion is this... Who is the killer or killers? For what reason (though I'm pretty sure it's the same given that it's Rina rolleyes ) And, any other question that hasn't been asked.

I want to make one thing clear first: unlike the "shocking death preview scenes" shown at the beginning of the other two chapters, this scene happened in real time. That is, this scene (where two residents discovered a dead body inside a garbage bag) actually did occur at the beginning of Tatarigoroshi-hen.
But if you ask me, I think they should've left this scene out altogether. In Minagoroshi-hen (7th chapter), we learn that this death is the TRIGGER to something. But if the anime's not going to do Minagoroshi-hen, then this scene is all but pointless.
