In a large room, there are five four-poster beds with curtains to allow for some measure of privacy. Each student has a cabinet for his things and his trunk sits at the foot of his bed. The room is rather dim all day long and candles sit in brackets on the walls, lighting it.

It was decently late in the evening, and Felix was playing with his beloved Leba. "Leba Leba Leeeebaaaa." FeFe purred, rubbing his pet's tummy while she swatted at a lock of his violaceous hair. He chuckled and wrapped his beloved animal up in his arms, nuzzling his pet's soft fur. As it was after school hours, Felix was currently wearing a pair of tight black jeans being held up by a big studded neon green belt. A chain was hanging down from his belt loop to connect to a muggle pinstriped wallet he had in his front pocket. It held a To Do list for his classes so that he would actually do his homework, but that wasn't gonna happen anytime soon. On top he wore a longsleeve blue-black shirt with baggy sleeves and the Netherland flag in the middle of it. On top of that he had an open orange button-up collared shortsleeve, complete with breast pocket. Orange and white fur was rubbed off in various places on his clothes due to his cat, and he had rainbow socks on. Of course, to complete his 'look', he wore his Nekojin that matched his hair. Ah, the love of Mismatch. "Wat zouden wij moeten doen?" He asked his cat in Dutch. His responce was a tiny meowl. Felix pouted. "U bent niet zeer nuttig..." FeFe snuggled his animal none the less and sighed. "Oh goed. Ga op een avontuur!" Though his self proclomation may have been corny, he followed through on it no less. Turning on his heel, he flounced down the steps twords the common room.

Toby had returned to the sixth year boy's dormitory to work on his Charms essay. He had gotten half way through when the afternoon sun started to dwindle. He rubbed his eyes, not realizing how long he had been immersed in his homework. It probably hadn't taken his classmates half as long to complete the entire assignment. Alas, this was Toby and things had to be perfect. Finding he needed a break, he walked over to his bed, where his majestic white cat Cyndra sat calmly. He patted the docile animal along its soft back as it sat silently still. Sitting to pay Cyndra the attention she seemed to deserve, he found the comfort of his bed overwhelming. To Cyndra's dismay, he retrieved his hand from her body and collapsed backwards, his gaze fixed on a certain patch of ceiling. There he lay, in the solitude of the dorm room, awaiting something exciting to happen.

Leba had always been a myschevious feline. It probably wore off on her from her owner, who was rather catty himself. Either way, she had been playing tricks on her dear master all day, as he had tried to take that dreaded hunk of metal to her perfectly clean fur. So what if it was sheading season! She would not allow that annoying monstrosity that he called a brush (a truely loathsome word as of itself) to mat her pretty orange stripes. So, with Felix in tow, Leba darted into the dormitories at top speed, looking for something to take shelter with. She quickly saw opertunity, and pounced upon it. Unfortunatly for the unsuspecting victom, 'Safty'= Toby's stomach, and 'Hiding'= pouncing, followed by curling up in a ball with her claws dug into his shirt, refusing to be pushed away.
"LEBA! Gedraag me zelf!! Het is niet als het losmaken van één of ander bont gaat -- Toblerone!!" Felix had marched into the room, Giant metal kitty-brush and Lint roller in hand, ready to strangle that little kittens neck. It was saterday, so he hadn't expected anyone to be in the dorms, but he was delightedly proven wrong. Stopping his Dutch rant, his anger vanished and was replaced with a happiness for the excuse to talk to the adorible Chocolate again. "Ack! I'm sorry Toblerone! Did Leba hurt you?" He asked hurridly, scuttling over to the boy.
((Err, I probably stretched the limit of control on this... Imagine it all happening in 5 or so seconds though sweatdrop . He speaks very quickly in his own language!))

Toby had been shaken back to reality when a large ball of orange and white had leaped onto his abdomen. He yelped in pain and surprise. Feeling the cat's claws digging into him, he jumped up and tried to pry the animal off of him. As this went on, Cyndra lay silently, her bright green eyes looking with little interest. Soon, the figure of Felix, his roomate, appeared in the threshold. How nice. He handed Leba over to the other boy. "Um, just a bit," he replied, poorly hiding his pain as he rubbed his stomach. He could feel a burning sensation under his shirt. He'd have lifted his shirt to inspect, but resisted, too shy to expose his body to the other. "No worries," he said, wincing. By this point, Cyndra had lost all interest in the situation and stood, stretched dramatically, and relocated herself to the centre of Toby's pillow. There, she lay and closed her eyes. "So... what's going on?" he asked shyly, not knowing if it was appropriate to address the boy.

Felix took the cat when she was handed to him and watched Toby's wincing antics with concern. When the boy attempted to change subjects, he pouted with dismay. He held up Leba to eye level by her under-arms and shook her back and forth lightly as he scorned her. "Slecht Katje!! U kwetste hem, niet u!" Leba, being smart enough to sense she did something really bad this time, folded her ears back and put on a truely pathetic look. Felix 'Grr'd at the cat and put her down before turning back to Toblerone. "I'm really sorry about that, She's such a stubborn cat! She loves attention but hates being brushed for some reason..." He gave a dismayed look to the tools in his hand before tossing it onto the bed behind him, followed by returning his attention to his peer once again. "Are you sure your okay? Her claws can be pretty nasty some times." Felix grabbed the hem of his long sleeve navy shirt and pulled it back to his mid biscep. There there were one long (3") and one short(1 1/2") faded lines going diagonally above the back of his elbow. "Like that! I got that one when I first met the lil' scamp." He pulled the sleeve back down before continuing. "It's safe to check just in case..." It was probably his heritage that made him feel the need to feel guilty over little things, but for this instance especially. He wasn't really sure how Toby would react if he was attacked by someones pet, his in particular. He was a little surprised the work-a-holic hadn't yelled at him for it, but was very happy that he hadn't.

Toby found himself caught off guard. One moment, he had been lying, belly exposed, in the quiet of his empty dorm room. The next, a cat had pounced onto his stomach and his social roomate had appeared, now showing his scars in an irresistable Dutch accent. I'd pounce on him in a heartbeat. Realizing he was fantasizing, about a boy just a metre away, he stopped himself. Donning a more subdued demeanour, he replied. "No, really, I'm fine." Damnit. Why must I be teased like this? Needless to say, had Toby had his way, the situation could have gone south rather fast. However, not the courage in the world could have pushed thoughts into actions. "Cyndra here loves to be brushed. She's kind of an attention seeker herself, though a little subtler in her approach."

Felix put out a dismayed look at the Prefect's responce. "If you're sure..." He was obviously not convinced, but he didn't want to pry in case it got ugly. "Cyndra, eh?" Felix looked over to the posh white cat on Toby's pillows. "Aardig..." He said softly in admiration. Switching languages for the third time in the last few minutes, he translated for Toby. "She's very pretty. Leba's just energetic, but it's nice to have delicate things too." He smiled softly before walking over to the cat and sitting on the floor next to the bed. Felix propped his chin onto the top of the covers and held his hand out for Cyndra to notice him. "I love cats." He commented happily, glancing back over to Toblerone to grin.
((Oo, that would be adorible... Train of thought for possible upcoming scene; Toby sits on the bed and winces, so Felix immediantly goes over to him, lifts up his shirt and puts his hand on Toby's Tummy before he can complain =>.<= Gah! Babelfish doesn't like me. I put in 'pretty' and it came out as 'vrij', but then I put in 'vrij' on the dutch side and it says it means 'free' @_@!))

The pain had passed, the initial shock subsided. "Yeah, I'm fine, don't worry about it." A compassionate boy. Toby liked that. "Yes, this is Cyndra. A spoiled cat. But she's great," he said with a smile. He couldn't help but be affectionate with Cyndra - but only when no one was around to see, of course. "I see I've met Leba. They say pets share traits with their owners. From the looks of it, it seems to be true." Felix was energetic And warm. And friendly. "Cat's are brilliant. Cyndra protects me. I'm more of the scaredy cat. I'm sure Cyndra'd like for someone to take over her job. She's probably sick of my talking... and my constant need to cling... and my random twitches of paranoia. Needless to say, we share the bed, but she probably hates it when I roll over and cuddle her." Stop talking. Too much information, Toby scolded himself. "Sorry. I'll stop." He let out a nervous laugh. How could he be so stupid?

As Toblerone continued to rant about his affectionate side, Felix's grin grew. Bloody hell, when did he become so adorible? At the end of Toby's schpeel Felix let out a light chuckle. Standing up from his sitting possition, Felix scratched the back of Cyndra's ear as he spoke. "She does sound like she has her cute little paws full. I can definatly help with the protecting part.." He took a step forward, " And if you're as bad as you say, I fear I might have a bit of compitition in the talking department, so that I simply must take care of as well," Another step, "And I don't like to brag, but I'm also a rather excellent cling-ee, so that will help with the parinoia and your constant 'need'..." By this point Felix was just about 6 inches away from the other boy, and he casually draped his arms on either of Toby's shoulders, looking at him with a completely serious look. "But for the last bit however, Leba would miss me if I switched spots with the ever-lucky Cyndra and simply have to follow me, and then Cyndra would get lonely and join in and then a bigger bed would be required with more pillows and- this is all Horribley hard to say with a straight face on because fighting over a bed possition with a cat, no matter how darling she may be, is utterly rediculous-" By this point, Felix was almost in tears from trying to hold back his laughter and eventually erupted with giggles. His head hung down in defeat as he laughed at his own pathetic joke for a good 5 seconds, only the arms he'd laid on Toby's shoulders keeping him up, before remembering who he was talking to. His head shot back up with a facial expression of half laughing, half looking like Christmas had just been cancled. "'M sorry 'm sorry 'm sorry!!! I do still mean-- I wanna be your friend and cling and be able to talk to you when you want to, so I wasn't laughing at that or anything and Eigenlijk, ik denk ik liefde u en ik wil slaap met u mits u hadden laat ik* And oh dear lord I really hope I just said that in Dutch..." At this point, Felix was talking so fast Toby probably couldn't understand what he was saying in english, none the less that slip of the tounge. I think I love him? 'I really do want to sleep with you'? When the hell did I think that?! Felix's cheaks where bright red with embarrassment, confusion and having just laughed his a** off a moment ago. To say the least, he needed to shut up, and he needed to do it now. "And now it's my turn to stop. Sorry." He squeeked the last work pathetically, looking decently frazled, and resting his forhead on Toby's shoulder unconciously.
((Wow... I will try never to write that long of post again, 'cause I really didn't give you much time for poor Toby to do anything, but that was so halarious it was worth it. *You have no idea how long it took me to translate this. First I wanted to say 'I like you alot and I would switch places with your cat in your bed if you'd let me', which sounds weird as of itself, but then I double checked it and it turned out "I love you really and I want place effectively with your cat in bed also to change gear if you will leave me but --" And yeah. I was a bit histeric while writing the last bit if only for that reason. Yeah. I'll shut up now.))

Toby sat completely still as Felix grew closer and closer. Not knowing what to do, he remained silent. As Felix placed his hands on Toby's shoulders, he tensed and drew a deep breath. In a way, it sounded as if Felix was mocking him. I knew it was too much information. I'm just strange. He prepared himself to say something so that the matter could be dropped (and so that he could make a swift exit). Then, Felix burst out in laughter. Gosh. I've already been humiliated enough. Then came the apology. A little slow in the comprehension of the situation, he had finally realized that all was well. Even still, Toby was frozen in his awkwardness and said nothing. The shortest of moments passed. "No, it's alright." And without a thought, he did something he thought he'd never do. He leaned forward and whispered into the other boy's ear. "I like you too... I think." He said this without any idea of what the other boy had said in his native tongue, however he had a sense of what he was expressing. Then, a thought hit him. Did I just tell a guy that I liked him? I did! Crap. What possessed me to say such a thing?! Realizing his world had changed in a very moment, his attitude refocused to the situation. Returning to his overly analytical side, he started to worry. For the first time in his life, instinct had taken over.

Felix froze. Oh. Oh my. A break threw had just occured. He likes me. He breathed a sigh of relief, feeling a warm buzz resound within him. Double Brownie points! He didn't ruin the kinda-sorta-relationship and Toby liked him! Felix closed his eyes and let out a content pur before he spoke. "In that case, I feel very liked." Not a drop of mockery could be heard in his voice, for there wasn't any. He looked up at Toby with soft hazel eyes and a soft, but very happy grin. "And I'll be even happier when the 'I think' is off of the end of that sentence. But, until then," He scooted his head to rest against the crook of Toby's neck and laced his hands to rest on the back of his neck. "I should probably stop posing as your drapery, Shouldn't I? Mijn Toblerone." He whisperd the last part with a pur in his voice, and was blissfully unaware how utterly girly he looked at that moment.

Toby breathed a sigh of relief, glad Felix hadn't made him regret what he had just said. Then, feeling the weight of the other boy, leaning on him, he hesitated. "Uh... um... Felix... what if someone sees? I don't think you should do that here." He had come off rather cold, but it seemed he was still preoccupied with his image. In a way, he had come out to Felix, but the rest of the world was still oblivious to Toby's true nature. "And... could you... not act like I said what I just said? Please?" He had taken on a pathetic tone, a pleading one. "Promise you'll act like you don't know?" Suddenly, he used a more direct tone. " 'Cause if you tell anyone, I will disown you. You can be sure of that." Hearing what he had just said, Toby frowned. He had reverted to intimidation and rudeness - cruel mechanisms he had learned to rely on, but knew were wrong. Still, Toby knew no other way. You have to protect yourself first. No one will care enough to do it for you.

Okay, that one hurt. But, being the social butterfly that he was, he knew what this was. He was being too clingy when Toby still needed space and thus was freaking out. Still keeping a light exterior, Felix let go and took a hop back in scilence. Looking up at the taller boy with his arms crossed behind his back, he gave a smile. "Gotchya. Not a whisper will be heard of your secret from me, dear Toblerone!" He gave a fancy bow to show he was uneffected by Toby's harsh tone, but for the record added, "and I mean that with the sincerety of your promise, which I know you will keep." His smile droped for a moment when he said that. He may be strong-willed, but that didn't keep him from being scared. I will disown you. But with those words a thought struck him. A sly grin replaced his frown as he casually flounced back over to where the tough Prefect stood. "After all, Disowning me would me that at the moment, you do own me, which I am perfectly pleased with and would be horribley lonely if you changed your mind about." He stoped when he reached Toby's side and ruffled the boy's hair softly. "But that's a secret too, right?" Felix gave a delightful grin, not particularly in a seriously teasing way, but in more of a 'My first strong connection with Toblerone! Yay!' sort of way. "And for the record, because you're probably not convinced and possibley a bit freak out, I will not tell. I may be a talkitive little child, but I've yet to break a promise. Especially one of someones personal beliefs."

Toby was satisfied with Felix's response. He was sufficiently (if not excessively) convinced that his sercet was safe with the boy. He was also amused at the fact that he "owned" another; it was a funny notion. "Yes, it is. And thank you. You are a chatty little one, aren't you?" he asked the last part with a smile. Then, more safety precautions rolled into his mind. "By the way, could we possibly... keep things low out in public? Say... we act like roomates more than anything? We'll live in our seperate lives until we can figure something out." Toby knew he sounded completely irritating with all his worrying. "I'm sorry... it's just that... I've never thought of what to do if someone knew. I guess I've never considered telling anyone. Like. Ever. I just want things to stay the way they are. And I think it'd be easiest to maintain things the way they are if no one suspected." Toby frowned. He was an insecure wreck. "And you're also going to have to deal with this. With my whining. And my worrying."
