This is all that is left of the once great Organization 13. Once they were defeated by Sora and the others their floating castle crashed to the ground. Now it is in ruins in the world of nothing.

Stepping out of the Dark Portal, Paul looked around himself at The Ruins and chuckled. The Dark City had held many things that were interesting, but it seemed he was no where closer to his goal than before. Whatever he was looking for, Paul could not tell. At the moment, that didn't matter.

Someone was following him through his own Dark Portal. He could close it off or let the pursuing man come through. Smiling, Paul decided the latter. His back toward the Dark Portal, he waits for the man to appear out of the portal. Rapture still leaning on his shoulder, Paul smiles where he hears movement behind him.

Stepping forth through the portal, by sight of the surroundings, Chephros knew exactly where he was. The ruins in the world that never was. All the two had done was change location, not world. How strange. However, seeing his opponent holding his keyblade over his shoulder, Chephros connected his noiselessly, and deftly. He no longer had to even look to do it, and could do it backwards, one handed, in his sleep. All he had to do was dream about it, lay on one arm, and hold one while throw the other in the air. It would come down, he would then enact the correct motions by turning one keyblade. It was easy now.

Holding the connected keyblade one handed for now, he would use it two handed for power if he wanted, or he could have a free hand for random actions, such as punches, or keyblade grabs. That would be useful if a fight broke out, but seeing as Cheph wanted to recruit this person, a fight would not be in his interests.

"So, why have you come to the world of darkness?"

"My world disappeared into the darkness. What better place to start than the world of darkness?"

This was the truth and yet it wasn't.Though he had lost his world, that wasn't the reason he came. He did want to see if a link to his world or even a piece of it remained, but so far nothing had been found. Those words he spoke were one of the few he had spoken in years. It seemed as if his paralyzed vocal cords had finally relaxed enough for words to be spoken aloud.

Turning around, Paul faced the man behind him and the smile never left his face. Something was relaxing around this person and he was able to show himself freely. Strange. Paul had barely met this person, yet he felt at ease around him. Another thing that was strange was even though an opponent was in front of him, Rapture disappeared from his hands.

"Interesting. If you intend on using those keyblades, then do so. If not, then put them up."

Disconnecting the keyblades, Chephros threw them up in the air literally, and they faded out into the blackness. Looking at his opponent then, he had dissected the words that the man had originally said, and figured that the first half was truth, and the second half was a lie. Certain inflections, as well as facial features gave it away, plus the fact that the man seemed to have been silent for a hwile, and had forgotten how to lie correctly.

"If what you seek if lost into the dark, find a light to help you search. If you however are lost in the dark, embrace it, and let it guide you."

The little speach was one that Cheph had been told long ago. It was one he lived by, and thus he had forsaken the light and let the darkness guide his way through life. Darkness, and not the nobodies, or the heartless. While they had power, they corrupted ones very being, and eventually destroyed them in the end. Darkness rewarded those who followed its path.

"I offer you a place in my organization. I stand for the darkness and all encompassed by it, and it alone. You meet my current requirements, and if you join me, later we shall test you in other matters. So, do you live for the darkness alone?"

If the man said no, then Chephros would attack him, and attempt to kill him. He had earned something from the man earlier, the right to unhinderingly pass through the city. The keyblade was now Cheph's goal if he was forced to fight. He was keep it for his later collection from the dead. This however, was only if he was forced to fight. Cheph extended his arm anyway, in a handshake form. If the man said yes, and clasped hands with Cheph, the darkness would flow, and brand both of them. They would be the two leaders of a new pact between the darkness, and the keyblade masters. The brand would look something like this only pure black.

The man spoke as if he was reciting a line given to him by someone else. Indeed he was searching the darkness for something and if this would in turn help him in his search, then he would join this man.

"Yes."

Paul was responding to the question and still his voice seemed unfamilar to him. As the man reached out with his hand to shake, Paul grabs it with his own and stares the man in the eyes. He was stilll smiling as the darkness flowed into him. It was as if a gentle stream ran across your body and he embraced it as he would an old friend.

The darkness also formed its own mark on his body in the shape of a spiral of black. While he had dabbled in the dark magic before, there were others who embraced them completely and used them. In the past, Paul had never feared the darkness and felt somewhat akin to it. Now he understood why. This person in front of him offers much and yet he hadn't introduced himself.

"Who are you?"

"I am the other end of the spectrum. I am the truth of these worlds, the spawn of all they have. I am the dark incarnate, I am Chephros."

Bowing slightly at the end of the words, he innerly smiled. Cheph had been waiting a while to say that to someone. The mark on his arm had appeared now as well, but this one was different. While the one on the other man's arm could actually be removed by a powerful light magic, as it was just placed and held their by the power of the dark, Chephros had been burned onto his skin long ago by the dark power, and that was what gave him the control he had now. It had been hidden though, via darkness, and was now surfaced as it had been used. The mark transferred to others, to symbolize a joint goal, such as the organization that Cheph was starting to form.

"So, I could use your name, and then we must be off. I fear the nobodies are getting anxious having you here, and I would rather keep what trust they have in me. I will need it later."

Going through the places he had been in his mind, Cheph tried remembering some place where there were a few good keybladers that could be attacked and taken down. The two of them could break apart, and probably cover more ground then, but if they were ambushed by warriors of the light, they would have little chance. Staying in a group seemed a better option, as they both had strengths that covered the other's weaknesses.

Laughter bubbled down in Paul stomach and rose upward till it spilled out of his mouth. Paul couldn't help himself. The man, Chephros, spoke like those uptight pricks who worked for the forces of Light. It sounded too much like a prepared speech and thoroughly amused Paul. He hadn't laughed, smiled, or even spoken in a long time. And yet, this Chephros person had brought out parts of Paul that he had thought lost.

"You may call me Paul. As to the Nobodies, let us leave before they decide on attacking."

He doesn't mention anything about the Heartless. Then again, they did seem to act like family. Is that why they haven't attacked me? Because I am akin to them? Or are there other reasons for their actions?

The words were coming easier to Paul as he spoke. His voice finally felt familiar and actually held spirit behind them, unlike before. Holding out his hand in front of him, Paul created another Dark Portal and walked through it.

Hearing the laughter, Chephros smirked. It was a pretty good start to a friendship. Hopefully the destination would hold something the two could work toward that could better the new organization of the dark. They would need a name later, for some strange reason, as they would need something to be identified by. They would also need a calling card for their victims, displayed over the body. Possibly the infinity mark displayed on their body, centralized from the stomache. That would lead to interesting results, and would be very easy to do. Deciding on that, he would do it to the next target that died.

Stepping through the portal, he followed through the corridor of darkness, trusting his companion to make a good choice of heading. The nobodies gathered around the portal, almost going in, but Cheph shut it on them behind him, making sure they wouldn't attack the new teammate.

He had watched them talk and disappear from his hiding spot on top of the ruins. He didn't need a portal to know where they were going. A man looking to start the organization again would obviously head to what was left of the old. After hearing their conversation of teaming up and watching them dissappeara frown grew on his face. "Killing other key bearrers will break the balance in the dark's favor. Somthing must be done to outwiegh it." Then he started to smile. "This could get interesting." And faded back into the shadows.

Shizuku approaches the ruins. Examining the rubble, she looked for any clues to find her missing brother. Her keen senses picked up a conversation some 20 meters away. Hmm... better not interfere.

(That actually couldn't happen, as then we would sense you, and no doubt attack you.)

((I know you guys can sense me, so that's why I said I wasn't going to interfere. Also by what I meant, it also means I was walking away from the ruins.))

A Dark Portal opened once more in The Ruins and out stepped Paul. This time though, they wouldn't be leaving after talking. And the talking this time would be on different topics. His partner, Chephros, had some impressive techniques and Paul had to better understand them if they both were to work perfectly together. Turning toward the portal, Paul waits for Chephros to appear.
