hmm well the RP forum is off to a great start, but i think a few rules might be good. Final decisions would go to TheBloodRed, or Mikoneikan, but here's a couple ideas anyway
ok first off, I'm definitely seeing a few good ideas, but many aren't well organized or communicated. i think we would all benefit if there was a minimum requirement of description about the world, the plot, etc. perhaps a paragraph? perferably at least two sentences.
obviously some RPs are impossible to explain that much, so i suggest we have 1 official destruction derby type one, and maybe a couple others.
also, although this problem hasn't arisen yet, maybe we should limit the amount of Naruto & other TV show/video game based RPs.
something i've seen some other forums do is make it so that you have to send a request to a mod, and get them to OK it before you create an RPG
EDIT: ok, there is a slight problem, 3 naruto based RPs, and none are very active yet. Unless everyone who wants to join one joins all 3, none of them will be quite that sucessful

To keep it from cluttering up the RP subforum, here's an argument Erfderul TheBloodRed Erfderul TheBloodRed Erfderul please, at least give one sentence to summarize the plot/premise of this Pshaw. Coming from someone who SPAMS the RP forum? what, exactly have i done that is spam? And if it is spam, why has it not been moved to the chatterbox subforum, or deleted if it's just a post? you've got priviledges to do stuff like that. of course, I can sort of see where you're coming from, since the new crew member area doesn't seem to have been noticed by anyone. Check there- i'm co-mod of this subforum, you get seniority of course. check the thread i put in the new crew area about the RP subforum. Dear God, that was quite stuck up. eek would you rather me lose control? I can do that too. I've deleted the posts, no reason to let everyone in the guild see crew members argue also, i'm tired of waiting, rules will be posted, although they will be subject to change after i get some response

Making more and more threads just because nobody is joining your RPG is not a good idea. Instead, edit your original thread into a *NEW* one. It will help the forum from looking trashy. 3nodding mad *glares at Erfderful* mad at least this time your point is semi-valid- people shouldn't make multiple threads ON THE SAME TOPIC, but how do you expect more than one completely different RPG to work in JUST ONE THREAD. Besides the threads that make the forum look "trashy" are the ones that have one simple sentence description, absolutely no background, etc. The ones with a paragraph or two actually look nice.

TheBloodRed Deleted an irrelevent and biased post by my favorite crew member, can be seen in the RP thread in the New crew member subforum, GET A CLUE. CLARIFICATION: in rule #!?W!/dllaka by one thread only, was by meaning that it is suggested that you make a less threads as possible in order to not clutter the forum cheese_whine apparently i wasn't clear enough. I MEAN YOU SHOULD ARGUE WITH ME HERE, NOT THERE. DO YOU NEED A HEARING AID? OR ARE YOU BLIND? also, i was wondering if you were just being lazy and unoriginal, or if you were actually trying to be a smartass when you copied my post exactly.

also, i was thinking of adding more requirements to making threads
there would be exceptions, like the fiery RPG of doom, Evil KItty RPG, Masquerade
anyway i was thinking something like this:
Plot/premise description:
1 to 2 sentences minimum, prefrably a paragraph
your character:
any info you want, at least add physical appearance, and background
chracter creating form:
needs as many categories as are in your character description
background (optional, but will help get your idea accepted):
anything descpribing events that have already happened, what the surroundings are like, etc.
intro:
varies depending on style
omniscient/omnipotent/overseer: a paragraph (third person)
openng speech/reflections of your character: a few sentences, maybe more (first person)
opening interaction/action: a sentence, depending on what you want to say/do (first person)

Okay, I don't know much about rping so that's why I got you guys to help me out, are you 2 getting along? cuz I'd hate to have to make any decisions on the rp forum, obviously I wouldn't know what to do when it comes to that, so please tell me you worked out your differences if there were any and you can pm me if you have any problems.
