Okay, this is where it gets the most confusing. Like most of you probably have figured out already, I love to be organized, expecially threads and guilds. So when it comes to pack threads, I would like those to look decent as well. Continue reading to find out how I would like for you to set it up. What you put in the posts is up to you, as long as it goes with the concept. Thanks. What to Title Each Post Post One: Pack banner and intoduction Post Two: Navigation (table of contents), Rules, and Updates Post Three: Alpha Male Post Post Four: Alpha Female Post Post Five: Rank List and Joining the Pack Post Six: Member Profiles Post Seven: Pack Location Post Eight: Pack Interactions Post Nine and On: Your Choice Post Details Keep reading to find out what each post should contain if you are confused with the stuff above.Post One Everyone knows what an intro is right? Make a catchy banner if you want to, or ask someone else to. You can add something in words, like a little bit about the pack and what to expect when joining. You could add something like a Motto or the Alpha Male's creed (can't take mine however, sorry). Get creative, this is your pack you add what you would like ^.^ Post Two Navigation is basically another way to say table of contents. Everyone needs one of these to help them when threads get complicated. Making one can only help, not hurt. The rules are up to you! You can take the rules from my pack or create some on your own. Some packs work differently than others so create away! And updates are also good to help people out as well. If a new member joins, say so. Did your Alpha Female just give birth? Why not announce it? Its up to you! Post Three The Alpha Male post is basically the wolf's journal, but a little shorter. Give the basics so people who are joining, know what to expect when interacting with him. Post Four The Alpha Female post is pretty much the same as the Alpha Male's. Tell everyone her likes and dislikes, maybe she is protective of her pups, or a really good leader when her mate is gone. Who knows. Post Five The rank list isn't as bad as it looks. All you have to do is copy and paste the list from the post below and put it into your thread. When a position is given, make sure to mark that wolf's name next to the rank he/she gained. If your confused have a look at my pack. For joining the pack, people must send a request to you personaly. They need to give you all the information on their wolf so they can be added to the profiles page. I have posted a code below that you may use, or you can add/change things if you would like. Name: Name here Gender: Gender here Relations: Relations Here Rank: See Ranking List Mate: Mate's name here Skills: Skills here Personality: Personality here History: History here Image: Link to wolf's certed image Post Six Member profiles are basically smaller journals of all the members of yor pack, put into their own quote in a post. You can put a small headshot image beside the words, or none at all its up to you. Desscribe them, their rank, and so on. Post Seven The pack location post basically describes and shows where you pack lives. If you have requested a dot on the main map, put that in the post. If you bought a specific custom map, a closer look at your territory, put that up as well! Describe what each section entails, the hunting grounds, pups area, main den, etc. Its up to you. Post Eight Pack interations are basically a list of your allies, neutral, and enemy wolf packs. If you are on good terms with another pack, or someone that is in the pack is someone you know well and trust, put their pack name under an ally. Maybe you have foughten with another pack, or they have stepped across your border without permission. Put them under the enemy list and keep a close eye on them. Post Nine Did I miss something you would like to add? Do you have some more ideas? Well, your welcome to 15 posts per pages, so there is still plenty of room for you. Post them and maybe other people will follow along. Again, its your pack, its up to you.

Confused about the ranks and roles of a wolf pack? Looking for a rank that will suit your wolf, but don't know enough about them? Well you have come to the right post. Below is a complete list created by myself, to explain the pack ranks and their roles. Chose wisely, because some Alpha's won't let you change.Alpha Male Alpha Male: Role: To lead and protect the pack. This is the most important rank in a wolf pack. The Alpha male must form the hunts, prepare for battle, and lead his members through harsh times, following his instincts. He eats first, marks his territory, and will attack anyone who poses a threat to him or his pack. He has one mate, and mates with her for life (Make sure your Alpha Male gets along with his mate and make sure you and the female's owner want to breed together for the rest of their lives). All other members of the pack must do what he asks at all times. Failure to listen can result in exile. Alpha Female Alpha Female: Role: To lead and protect the pack. If the Alpha male is gone, killed, or can't lead at times, she will be the one to take over. She gives birth to pups that will take high positions and protects the pack and other pups as well. She eats first, marks her territory, and will also attack any wolf who poses a threat to her, pups, or her pack. She too, must be listened to at all times. Beta Beta (2): Role: There are two Betas, male and female. They are second in command and usually have some relation to the Alpha Male or Female. They help to partrol the territory and alert the Alpha's when danger is near. They are also peace keepers of the pack, and will always try to break up a pack fight with a little words of wisdom. Beta's are good with pups and are usually a happy, well rounded wolf. They sometimes stay away from the pack to be on their own, but they still love to interact. They eat second when the Alpha tells them they can. There will be two Betas, male and female in your wolf pack. Guardians Guardians (4): Role: The wolves who are essentially the protectors of the pack. They are the third in command wolves, can be any gender, but tend to be male. They keep an eye our for intruders and are often around the pups or main den to protect the rest of the pack. There can be 4 Guardians in your wolf pack and can be any gender, usually males. Warriors Warriors (4): Role: These wolves are strong, tough, fierce, and always ready for a fight. They do have their kind and sensitive side within the pack borders, but if someone intrudes, or they hear a Guardians call, they move right to the task with the permission on the Alpha. They will help and fight along the Alpha Male and Female, risking their lives for them and trying their best to defend the pack. There can be 4 warriors in your wolf pack and are usually males, but females are allowed to take part in this role. Hunters Hunters (5): Role: These wolves are the ones who mainly go out and hunt for the rest of the pack. They are quick and strong, and can take down animals three times the size of them. All wolves of the wolf pack however, are allowed to participate in the hunt, but when they don't its up to these wolves to provide them food. There can be up to 5 hunters in your pack and they can be any gender. Pup Sitter Pup Sitter: Role: This wolf, usually female, will protect and babysit the pups while the Alpha's and the rest of the pack are away. They can start as early as a teenager and continue to babysit for the rest of their lives if that is what they wish. There is only one pup sitter and it is perferred that the role is played by a female wolf. Scouts Scouts (3): Role: Scouts play the same role as the Guardian would, however they actually leave the pack territory at times and even spy on other packs that may be too close. These wolves are fast and very stealthy, able to gather information and report it back to the Alpha's. They won't ever attack the pack they watch, but keep a close eye on them if they feel something is up. Scouts are usually teenagers, but can stay scouts as an adult. There are up to three scouts allowed in your wolf pack and they can be any gender. Subordinates Subordinates (unlimited): Role: These wolves have no rank at all. They are just simply members to help keep the pack going strong. They can however, help out with other roles such as warriors, hunters, etc. They tend to be happy and know the rules of the pack. The eat once the Alpha's, betas, and Guardians are done and are allowed to join or even start pack howls. They play with the pups and just really enjoy interactions with their Alphas. There can be as many of these wolves as you would like in your pack and they can be any gender. Pups Pups: Role: In real life wolf pack, only the Alpha Male and Female are allowed to mate and have pups. However, to keep people happy anyone from any pack is allowed to mate with any other wolf, as long as it isn't the Alpha's they mate with. Royals, pups of the Alpha Male and Female, will always be tended to first to make sure they stay alive to keep the pack bloodline going. The other pups are allowed to do just as much as the royals and their little lives consists of playing, eating, and sleeping. Once they grow older, the first to chose a role are the royals, then the other pups. They are constantly under the watch of their mothers, and babysitter. There is no specific number of pups allowed in the pack and they can obviously be any gender. Omega Omega: Role: This is the lowest ranking wolf in the pack. Though he/she is loved by all, this wolf sometimes gets neglected by the pack or is constantly dominated by the Alpha's or other high ranking members. This wolf can either be sweet, or nasty depending on how well he or she can take the abuse. The omega can be attacked and left with scars if he/she ever steps out of line. The best thing to do is always have his/her tail low and submit to the Alphas whenever possible. The Alpha or pack will not attack the omega for no given reason, only when he/she disobeys. The omega eats last and it is usually scraps it ha to survive on, if not then it will hunt for itself. They try there best to stay away from the pack when it comes to time to sleep, but will often enjoy friendly interactions or pack howls. The amount of neglect this wolf is shown to, also depends on the Alpha male. If he is a good leader and believes that none of his members should be left behind, the omega may be happy in his/her position, treated and fed well, and maybe even bumped up a rank over time. If the Alpha Male is dominant in every way, the omega may often be neglected and will always stay submissive. There is one omega allowed in the pack, it can be any gender.

So you have an Alpha Male. Now what? Start a pack of course! You have an uncommon Alpha wolf so use him to your advantage. Starting a pack isn't as simple as it sounds forever, and it takes some requirments and approval. Continue reading to find out more.Requirements 1. Your Alpha Male must have an Alpha Female before starting a pack. He cannot start on his own. 2. It is encouraged that before starting a pack, you should have at least three other wolves that are willing to join, that way it can really be considered a pack. 3. It would be best if you had your cert updated so your wolf has "Alpha Male" under his title. Please post that you need an update in my journal and feel free to PM me about it as well. 4. It costs 1k to make a pack, this money will be used toward the guild to make changes, add subforums, and so on. 5. Try and keep your pack information neat and organized. Follow the template posted above and add some nice banners if you could. 6. You must have my complete permission before starting a pack. 7. Your form must be posted in this thread and I will quote it and tell you if it passed or not. 8. You should try your best to get a dot on the map right after you open your pack. Request Form Please fill this form out as best you can and post it in the thread. Do not PM the form because I most likely won't look at it. Also, be patient, I may not get to it right away, but I will try. Thank you.Alpha Male: Owner: Alpha Female: Owner: Other Members: Owners: Name of Pack: Description of Location: Link(s) to all RPs any wolves of the Pack have been active in: Reason for Starting a Pack:
