I need someone to take care of my pet rat, Tabris. She's very sweet and doesn't require any special care. All you need to do is feed her, give her water, and considering she'd be in her travel cage (a cat carrier), excersize(sp?). She's very sweet and loving, and she likes sitting on people's shoulders. It's not neccisary(sp?) that you play with her, but it would be nice if you did. Domestic rats are naturally clean animals and you wouldn't need to change her bedding at all. She initially doesn't like being picked up, but when you do eventually catch her, she loves to play. You can put her in her rat ball if you want. It's very entertaining to watch her roll around ^_^ Rats are also very agile, so don't be scared when you pick her up. If she does fall though, don't worry unless she starts limping. She'll probably be fine. She's very quiet (unless being threatened[sp?]). She likes fresh fruits and vegetables the most.
All I'm asking is for someone to take her in and take care of her basic needs during July 2nd--July 9th. Anyone who can, please let me know!!! Thanx!!!

For a second I thought this thread was misplaced.... because there is a sticky... but you are asking a favor.
I would love to help you. Rats are fun, as long as your not in NYC. I would take it no problem... but my cat would eat it.

Redd, I can take it. No other animals that'll harm it (two rabbits and four really annoying Finches *takes shotgun and shoots them*) and my dad will agree. Only problem would be my Mom, but if it is connected in any way, shape, or form to any of my friends, she'll allow it, my sisters are the real problem.

Only problem would be my Mom, but if it is connected in any way, shape, or form to any of my friends, she'll allow it, my sisters are the real problem. omg... why is it that everyone has cute pets but me? crying *goes to cry in a corner*

No....I used to own a Hamster, named him Marko Ramius, but he was known by my sister as "Charizard" after her favorite pokemon....I prefered Marko Ramius

Jusuchin Panjirinanu No....I used to own a Hamster, named him Marko Ramius, but he was known by my sister as "Charizard" after her favorite pokemon....I prefered Marko Ramius yeah well I had a hamster and my parents made me choose between burry it alive or release it into my backyard with the owl and cats -_-;

um.. I have 1 question though o_o; What's that thing peeking out from under her stomach in the 2nd picture? Her tail is pink... so it's prolly not her tail. are you sure it's a "she"? o-o;;
