Okay Y&R. Enough with the creative history re-writes. I like the idea that Jill is Katherine's daughter, and I like the idea that a young Brad witnessed a young Nikki accidentally kill his brother, but the math does not add up and this is bound to p*ss off some longtime die hard fans. Just as some viewers remembered how old Jill was when she came to work for Katherine, I remember how old Bradley was when he came to work for the Abbotts and it wasn't Nikki's age or slightly younger. No offense to Melody Thomas Scott whose beauty knows no age or bounds, but Don Diamont's Brad was much younger than her Nikki when introduced on the show. Word to the wise, not every fan is willing to buy every storyline. domokun

Doesn't anyone else watch the top-rated soap? I have a new theory about this kid that Nikki is looking for since Brad has told her that it isn't him. There's still something going on with him, so hang on for THAT theory. The kid Nikki is looking for is Bobby. See, the boy's middle name was Robert and well, Bobby is short for Robert. Also, they are such good friends, it has to be him to tear that relationship down. Bobby can grow to hate Nikki because he could have had what society sees as an acceptable life style had he stayed in Genoa City and not been forced to leave with his parents after his brother came up missing all those years ago. Now back to Brad. He had to change his names years ago and leave town. I am betting that either he or the newly returning Malcolm is Devon's father. All the mystery surrounding his parentage, it has to be because he is the offspring of someone we already know. Either way, it makes for great storytelling. If he is Malcolm's son, then the whole "Is Malcolm Lilly's real father?" thing can be revisited and Lilly would have a brother. If he is Brad's son then who knows what all story could not come from that? Just don't let him be Victor's. He has enough kids already. And why must he be a part of Abby's life and not Victor Jr.'s?

I'm posting to myself, apparently, but I still think that Brad is Devon's father, Malcolm is Lilly's father, and Bobby is the kid whose brother Nikki killed long ago.

Just letting you know I'm here and reading your ideas.... smile
I used to be a huge Y&R fan, but I drifted away through the years, and now I just kind of check in Y&R every now and then.
General Hospital has always been my favorite, but I've been big fans in the past also of Y&R, B&B, OLTL, AMC, Search for Tomorrow (remember that one?) eek , Edge of Night, Ryan's Hope, Loving....but General Hospital is the one I have tuned into through the years the most, although I've recently been watching the OLTL storyline with Jessica and Antonio....I used to really like the Todd storylines when he was first on OLTL....they could have done more than they did with all that....oh well... biggrin
Anyway, just letting you know I am here and listening to you... biggrin

p.s. I was disappointed that Brad and Ashley are apart now, for once it would be nice for Victor to not ruin Ashley's life, especially when she had a pretty solid marriage, so I thought anyway. eek

Yay!!!! Someone IS reading!! Ashley is crazy for leaving Brad in hopes of wooing Victor. She and he and Abby had a solid family. She destroyed all of that for nothing, because Victor made it clear that he is not romantically interested in her.

It would appear that I was right about Bobby being the Robert that Nikki knew so long ago. If you watch enough soaps for a long enough amount of time, you can practically write 'em yourself. Now that Victor is back, I wonder how he is going to react to Bobby and Britney living in his home.

I can't believe Phyllis!!! Did anyone see her dressed up as a guy? She was simply amazing!!! Not to mention the country voice and the mannerisms. I hope her plan works. That plot was full of holes, though. There is no way that the cops would not have strip searched her before putting her in a jail cell. Not to mention the guy who patted her down. Could he not feel her breasts? She is a very voluptuous woman. Even with the flaws, I still love the story.

I have watched Y&R in about 7 or 8 years, but I caught a few episodes this week since I was home and bored. This show has some really hot men eek I'm especially fond of JT ^^
