Did anyone else catch Desperate Housewives on ABC last night? It's their new primetime soap/drama and they have been advertising it regularly on both ABC and SoapNet for at least 3 monthes now.
The premise is interesting - a housewife in an upper class neighborhood commits suicide and then finds that the afterlife, for her, consists of watching her neighbors and their exploits(or lack there of).
There was a LOT of sex. Like, every ten minuets it seemed as if someone was jumping into bed with someone else(usually not someone they were married to). It was a bit too much for the 1st episode, but the show seems as if it has some promising drama. I'll be willing to watch at least the first 3 or 4 eps before I make a descision on wether to catch it weekly or not.

Funniest line ever:
"Honey, if I was paid in quarters I would be doing something very wrong." - Said by a hooker

Celes Star I missed Sunday's episode...I wanted to see what happened with the adultress and her mother-in-law xd Oh, it was very funny. The mother-in-law would not leave her alone. She would always follow her around and make her go shopping, then while they were out shopping she would start talking about wanting grandchildren. One day the wife snuck some clothes with inktags into the mother-in-law's purse while she was in a dressing room, and then proceded to leave the store as fast as possible. Well, the mother-in-law was not far behind, but did not know about the "stolen" merchandise in her bag, so when she ran out of the store the alarms went off, and she was held by security guards while the wife got away to meet her boyfriend.

That sounds awesome. I'll have to go find it on BT and check it out. Desp[erate Housewives has proved to be a bit of fun. Especially on a boring Sunday night. Bree scares me. She is just so... *shivers* Her relations with her family are hilarious. Especially her husband. I would be scared to find out she had an evil twin xd

Beat me down with a shoe because I have never seen it. I had every intention of watching, but I keep watching "Sex in the City" reruns as well. Just like with "Friends," I am trying to hang on as long as the network will let me. I do hope that ABC will show a marathon of DH one day so I can catch up.

Isn't it fun 3nodding I seem to miss every other episode, though...just my luck sweatdrop I read an article in TV Guide that they approached the creator/writer about a spin-off series(already!0 but he said it would have to wait another year or two because DHW was all he(she?...I think he) could handle right now.

Wasn't it sweet when Gabrielle gave up John so he would go to college? Do you think that she will get with the new gardener? The episode hasn't aired yet, but I saw the promos where he offers that "I can do all the things for you that John did." Just dripping with inuendo. eek eek eek eek This show is teh sexy!!! biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin
