Maranwe straitened as her ears perked. "Oh here we are!" she could hear the commotion coming from the city already. "Just ahead."

"Alright," Maranwe spotted the gates right away as they turned past a clump of trees. She frowned at the guardsmen as they walked passed, their eyes looking suspiciously to Yami. Her nose twitched, she never could understand felines dislike for humans. She knew Yami could take care of himself though and so turned her head from them and was instantly smacked in the face by the smell of fish and other wafting sea smells that came with the place. "Welcome..."

"I hold the sent of the palace...they try anything they know they are threatening the king himself." she turned to Yami and nodded. "I apologize, not all are like the guards." she watched street merchants carts turn into small booths and on into buildings as they walked down one of the main stream roads. Small children where pulled out of their way as the two horses walked passed with a flick of their tail. Some looked brightly towards them with a nod of their head and others shyed away or glared. Maranwe promptly gave the evil eye towards a few routy boys that stood with their arms folded along the sidelines. Maranwe caught the eye of one and quickly turned to face forward with a smile that wasnt necissarily on good terms. "We arent far but i was wondering if you wish to go somewhere more private to where there arent so many .....well stares?"

Maranwe decided she would take him to a more private spot to go sit....or swim....or whatever they wished to do, anyway. It was away from the docks and the ships.

She thought back to the griffin and Tristam, she would visit as soon as she got the chance. Yami might want to come as well, she would bring it up as soon as they got down to the spot.

The group of boys looked at one another,

"I suppose we should go see what Ms. Priss is up to these days?" Dark lavendar eyes sparkled with interest.

The other felines nodded towards the one who was talking.

"She hasnt come around these parts in a while. I wonder what her problem is." came a female from besides him. Dark patterns could be seen on her tan skin, she stuck out her full lips and looked to the lavender eyed male. "You arent going to get any ideas are you?" her nose wrinkled, "He seemed to be human and then he smelt of cat."

"A shapeshifter, he looked like he had some sort of royal crest on him Shinwae. Are you sure you want to get caught up in that?"

"I was hoping Prince Damien was with her actually....i wanted to ruffle both of them up a bit...but i am sure this...shapeshifter will have to do."

"We are just going to talk crap right? Your not going to try anything, right Shinwae?"

"....Oh come now boys," he looked to the female, "and Jade." he patted her head. "its been a few years since we have seen little Ms. Maranwe why not have a little fun, who knows how long she will be back."

Maranwe quickly allowed her horse to walk quicker and soon as they could, they were along a road just besides the bank of the beach. The trees and ocean seemed to press on both sides of them, Maranwe looked towards Yami and observed him silently but made no move to speak to him. He had spent most of his day already with her, she was sure he would like room to think. She eventually let Rodney slow and soon turned on an even smaller trail to take them down into a more private area of the beach.

She smiled when at last they were to a suitable spot and hopped off to wait for Yami to fallow.

"Its better then being by the boats." she gave him a lop sided grin and continued to take of her shoes and socks. She knew it was unlady-like but really who cared.

"Oh who knows," she said this lightly, "you are quite silly." she walked forward and into the water. She stopped to her knees, feeling her pants soak up the salt water greedily. "....coooooooooooold." she chuckled to herself and swung her hands a bit.
