So, I've been arguing with someone. It's mostly been a source of gold for me, but it's funny to see how ignorant this girl and her few friends are.
She sits here and claims that Japanese animation is superior, American animation is shitty, Japan doesn't show American cartoons, etc.
Even when practically forcefed facts that prove everything otherwise, she still believes that she's right, because she claims to have one little friend in Japan. One out of 130 million.
Discuss- Ignorant people This girl Similar problems with other people Etc.

Hmm....Sounds like Tard to me. Tard (n): One who thinks he/she is right and everyone is wrong. I hate when someone thinks they are right because they a have a little connection (A friend or whatever), i had to face a brat who kept saying she read the Entire Inuyasha Manga, and "Researched " and tried to spoil the whole Entire story, Torturing the people who have trouble of getting the Show and Manga( i'm one of those people). *Sigh* Then i had to face and tell her to stop posting Damn Spoilers.

Aye, I hate those kinds of people. Close-minded people drive me nuts. Unfortunately, many of my friends acted just like that. I was the black sheep among my group, because I was a fan of graphic novels and "OEL" manga.
Then I evangelized them. Har har har.

I tried to get my drop out friend to go back to school instead of sitting around and playing video games and chatting on the internet all day. Those are the two reasons he dropped out too. Well, anime also but it was less of a reason. I tried to convince him to leave his "otaku-ness" behind him, get a job so he doesnt have to spend his 70 year old grandmothers money, that she works two jobs to get, go back to school and at least get his GED, if not his High School diploma, but he just doesnt want to. It makes me so mad because the first place he's gonna turn is to me and my parents when his grandma dies and he's homeless.

I have a problem like that. A friend of mine has a medical disorder that affects her hands. The doctors seem unable to help her thus her dreams of going to art school are naught. Problem is... she wants art school or nothing. I've been trying to get to up a job or study something that will not require that much use of her hands but nothing works. Now all she does is live off her parents and throws her life away waiting for a chanse that she will be able to still go to art school.
I love talking to people about Shouta/Lolita that seems to be a crossed the line subject for many people. So much fun.

Difference in our positions is that he doesnt have a disorder. He dropped out to play video games, watch anime, and chat on the internet. He spends the money of his 70 year old grandmother on his hobbies. She's a maid and a waitress at some hotel. He just mooches and nothing more. He doesnt contribute. His grandma threatens to kick him out if he doesnt look for work, and he lies through his teeth to her. I was hanging out with him one weekend and she asks how the work hunt was going, in her horrible english, and he says he went out to check at about 1pm. Problem is I was there since 10am and all he did was play Warship Gunner 2 and play some RP on Byond Games, while I sat there and watched. It defeated the purpose of hanging out that day.
He's the exact deffinition of a human leech. Its sad to say. Oh, and his dream is to make video games. He never will because he's not going to school, thus meaning no game company will hire him for more than cleaning toilets for minimum wage. Then he goes to my school to look for work. In which he is so far in the bottom of the barrel for a choice he's on the outside. He goes to school with 25,000 students to get a job at a coffee shop. Where the students always get first choice on jobs then comes people who atleast have a diploma. s**t, they didnt even give him an application he's so far below the barrel. Thats the kind of stuff I mean, he's gonna come to me for sanctuary when his grandma dies. I dont want to take care of a bum. Thats like purposly eating when you have a tape worm just to feed the damned thing.

I am sure she does not know just how BIG disney is over there.. It is like crazy over there..

they over there would wrather have american stuff. expecially Disney..
oviously either the person she talkes to does not live in a place with a lot of people... or she does not realy live there.. or this friend does not exsist...
it is hard not to notice...

Geez.. That's really unopen-minded of her.. Japan actually does show American cartoons.. Just as America shows japanese cartoons.. It'slike a trade off.. I used to live in Japan (lived there for about 6 years) She should try to get her fatcs straight and actually look into it and research the facts..

Yeah, I have a few friends like that. And forgive me, but I actually have been close-minded before. I feel sorry for that, but that was when I was younger and I'm starting to change.
