through the fairy ring, there is another world. a world of magic and monsters, smiling gnomes and feirce dragons. but a new force is emerging in the world: humans. they breed like rats, and they're not afraid to change things. and change things they do. they mow down forests, and mine mountains down to piles of loose stone. they pour runoff into the seas and rivers. their cities belch smoke and fire that obstures the stars and chokes those creatures who fly. they progress, and their technology skyrockets. the magical creatures don't like this, and want them to stop their destrution of the forests, mountains, and oceans. the humans don't want to stop. they're living longer, and living better. they claim the magicals hold them back, and begin to rage against them. the magicals are losing homes and families to the recless consumpton, and they begin to rage against the humans. the sides havce retreated to their capitals, matropolis and shangri-la, where they are massing for a war. choosse a side of get caught in the crossfire.

Name: chun'gath Age: 25 Race: ogre Sex: male Apperance:  Powers: ogre strength, thick hide Abilities: warrior-monk training Weapons: a six-foot portable battering ram. Short Bio: he was spared by a compassionate monk after a human warrior the monk traveled with slayed his parents when they attacked his camp. the monk took him to a monastary, where he quickly learned the arts of combat, and more slowly the arts of inner peace. he trained with them and learned from them, helping where he could until he heard first heard the rumors of a war brewing. right then he packed his bags and headed out to do what he could to stop the senseless death a war would bring. how, exactly, has so far escaped him. Other: meditates often, attempting to keep his baser instincts in check. also, he stands ten feet tall slouched. twelve feet and six inches upright.

Shiyomi was walking through the forest, singing with her delicate voice, she was alone and she liked it that way. She hopped into the highest tree in the forest and sat on one of the branches. then she started singing a song she wrote in a lower voice.((I really did write this so no stealing please))

"Ahh!" Shiyomi said and nearly fell off the branch. "Oh hello. You suprised me, don't see very many people around." she said and held out her hand "I'm Shiyomi. Also if you don't mind me asking what are you?" she said smiling then she used her powers to bring up an apple to her.

"So what's a human like you doing in the forest? Wouldn't you rather be surrounded by all your technoligy?" Shiyomi said. She thought all humans were pigs, only interested in profit and technology, she hadn't met a single human on the side of the magical creatures.
