I suppose I'll be the first then. Hi guys!! Welcome to our new home! ^^ Now we can all be in one place which is a good thing for cross weyr events like Gather's and Hatchings. WAH! Must put hatching sands threads up...*plots evermore* ^~ Anyway, There's a few things lined up for Fort to happen, and Benden might as well. I guess we've figured out who the Werylingmaster and Weyrwoman are at Benden...Just need the final confirmation to make the appointments in that case.
Enough about Pern. Who's a Red Sox fan?

I don't really watch sports... though if hockey happens to be on, I'll always root for the Canucks. *shrugs* Dad's doing.
...anyone seen the movie Stigmata? xd I'm going as Frankie for halloween.

Frankie is just suddenly struck with the Stigmata (living wounds of Christ, for any who don't know). She's not even particularly religious. Anyway, the whole theme is the Gospel of St. Thomas - actual writings which are thought to be the closest thing we have to Christ's actual words. It threatens to destroy the Catholic Church, so they made a movie about it 3nodding xd It's awesome. I won't give too much away, but... dude, it's frickin' awesome.

I watched School of Rock this evening. The DVD feature where he begs Led Zepplin for permission to use one of their songs (Immigrant?) is HILARIOUS. Jack Black, as adorable as he may be, sounded like someone was tapdancing on a cat when he did that shoutey roarey thing.

I laughed so hard I hurt myself. If someone had walked into the store at that moment, they'd have called a paramedic or something, because it must have looked like I was having a seizure, and I certainly couldn't bring myself under control soon enough to reassure them. It took a good ten minutes for me to settle down, and I'm still snirkling. lol

*shrug* I kinda like Jack Black, I've only seen him a few times though.
I don't like Adam Sandler though, his humor always comes across as being terribly crude. I'll watch movies with him in it... but overall I haven't liked them. As much as it's sometimes cute when adult men act like overgrown fifth-graders ... overall it's damned irritating.
*prefers more sophisticated comics, like Drew Carey and Colin Mochrie*
