The FMA movie was inconclusive crying . I mean COME ON!!! (spoilers, don't highlight the white text if you don't want the movie ending to be spoiled. Also don't highlight it if you hate cursing...)
So Edward goes to the otherside of the damned Gate. Well, that's just fine. So he's ******** prancing around Munich Germany, while these evil Nazi bitches are trying to fry him. That's fine too. What ISN'T fine is how Edo-kun there goes and gets into some ******** up crackpot rocket, and goes back to Amestris a.k.a Shamballa. That's GREAT. But NO. He has to come BACK to Germany ready to get his a** kicked. And his little mofo of a brother (sorry, I kinda dislike Al) tags along. That's just WONDERFUL. Now, the really DISTURBING part is that THE ******** DIRECTORS ******** ENDED THE ******** MOVIE RIGHT THERE!!! GAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!
I mean, I really did enjoy the movie. It was pretty gory and it had tons of blood and stuff...but MAN THE ENDING SUCKED!!! scream scream scream

I know!!! I'm a really obsessed EdXWin fan! I hated how Winry pretty much got cut from the movie except for a few scenes where winry attaches another ARM!!! scream

Omg me too i hated the movie I really was waiting for their happy ending crying when it came to the end i was like what the heck just happened here! i sat through that hole thing for nothin! but i guess it was better than nothin cuz al and ed got back together

Oh yeah, and I forgot to mention that when the *movie* was over, I practicly screamed at the top of my lungs, "THIS ISN'T A MOVIE, THIS IS s**t!!!"

I thought it was awsome! I mean, you have to think about the choices they had. It came down to killing off Ed and Al or the ending they did. They wanted to finish it, not leave it for more episodes. By stranding Ed and Al in the world with no alchemy, that finished it for good, no more Fullmetal Alchemist. Also, if they left it for more, others could steal the idea and make their own. But I do agree that leaving Winry behind was really sad crying . I was crying! But I thought they did an awsome job!

Anime_freakk! Heh, at least you SAW the movie. sweatdrop ^^ You can buy it at walmart for about 20 bucks. The movie was...different, as in I liked the gore and the FMAness of it, but it was s**t.

Actually, I STILL don't get why they had to go to the other side to seal the gate. Which if what you said is true, that they can't do alchemy, then how are they sealing the Gate? And once again, they are NOT in a world with out alchemy. They still can do it, but it takes more complex circles and different methods. In short, all they did was create a completely inconclusive ending in which Ed and Al are liable to come back at any point, and everything is at a cliff hangar. I thought it was a cheap FMA rip off. Why else would they make it a double set in which there's the FMA movie, and a *bonus FMA DVD volume 1* worth the 20 bucks you paid for the whole thing?
