This JUST in...

Due to my watching G4tv this morning, and actually listening to "The Feed", I have learned that there will be a NEW J.R.R. Tolkien Novel released in 2007!

Here's what I got from the feed!

J.R.R. Tolkien, author of The Silmarillion and Smith of Wootton Major* has a new story coming out, even though he's been dead for many, many years.

Tolkien's son Christopher has been editing the unfinished manuscript for "The Children of Hurin," for 30 years (slacker!) and it's finally ready for release. Look for it in the backpacks of elf-fetishists in 2007.

UPDATE


I've added a new thread called "Unused Character Bios" in which I am personally putting all of the character bios written by members who either...
A.) No longer post in this RPG.
or
B.) No longer post for those particular characters.

I've gone through the "Original LOTR Character Bios" thread and moved all of those pertainning to A or B into the "Unused Character Bios" thread. Then, I deleted them from the "Original LOTR Character Bios" thread.

I've also organized the "Original LOTR Character Bios" but putting the character names in alphabetical order in the first post. That way, finding out where someone's bio is becomes easier! You can find their name and then find the page number and post number for that bio.

Characters who are Dead are still located in the "Original LOTR Character Bios" thread.

Please, make sure that when you post a character bio, you post it in the "Original LOTR Character Bios" thread and not in the "Unused Character Bios" thread!

NEWS!


As most of you may already realize...

The music in LOTR rocks.

Howard Shore was a complete genius on this music, and the soundtracks for the three films are perhaps some of the most inspiring music every conducted.

As a buyer of great soundtracks, I am pleased to announce (though rather late) that there are new audio cds out.

Released in November of 2005... The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring: 4 Disc CD set

Released in November of 2006... The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers: 4 Disc CD set

Return of the King has yet to be released.

These sets, while ranging from $59 - $76, are quite remarkable. Encased just like the movies (they look like books), it is the COMPLETE score for the movie of the same name, even with the music from the Extended Editions.

I tell you... it's Christmas when you watch LOTR. I'll never have another Christmas holiday without watching the trilogy, and LOTR products should always come out in time for Christmas.

Take a look at the cds on Amazon.com. They truly are magnificent.
