Are they really going to end it with Tsumihoroboshi-hen? crying EDIT: Just read Episode 23 post...hopfully they'll make those chapters... crying

Wow, I was not expecting that... but it does make sense. So... would it be safe to assume that Kei-chan's been hanging around a marsh in the first arc or no? sweatdrop

So... would it be safe to assume that Kei-chan's been hanging around a marsh in the first arc or no? sweatdrop Actually in the first arc he really didn't go beserk or crazy her just got freaked out and paranoid.Not to mention he knew way too much. In the first arc Mion and Rena injected him with a poison so that probably means that was the parasite.

But back on topic, I never would have thought that the syringe could be filled with with the parasite. But, if so, what would be the intention of giving Shion the parasite if she's already in her insane stage?

I thought the parasite was just released in Hinamizawa and that everyone there had it. It's just that when one leaves Hinamizawa, either the parasite reacts or it doesnt. It depends on how the body can handle it...like Keiichi said, Naturaly Selection. The parasite is only supposed to exist in Hinamizawa to promote Oyashirosama, and if it tries to leave, the person is either tolerant to the parasite not activating it, or it activates and the person kills him or herself thus destroying the parasite.

Like for religion...some people may be trying to keep the fact of their God's nonexistance by killing ppl off who know too much
Or for History, they way Higurashi is timelined
Or science...Involving Natural selection to the parasite

I thought it was really cool that it was something like parasites. I'm just glad it wasn't the whole alien thing like they started to say for a few minutes. If they made the solution aliens that would've sucked o.O
