Okay, okay. I'm kinda obsessive over books at the moment because I just finished a really good book and then after that book I finished it's sequel and then I find out that the sequel has a sequel. But as my siggie shows, I joined a guild for the book. The Stephenie Meyer guild. Twilight and New Moon are absolutely fantastic.
Moving on, what books have you read (other than manga) that you really loved? I need something new to read that will get my mind off having to wait 2 years for the sequel of the sequel. =D

I really enjoyed reading 'The Chronicles of Chrestomanci' by Dianna Wynn Jones. I'm not sure if I spelled that right. I know I got the title right but I'm not sure about the author. ^_^

I kind of like "The Boy and the Samura" by Erik Christian Haugaard. I think it's good for a twisted mind like me.

The Giver, Gathering Blue, and the Messenger, all by Lois Lowry.
Read them in that order, and they ROCK.

Read "The Samurai's Tale" before reading "The Boy and the Samurai" because "The Boy and the Samurai is supposedly the sequel to "The Samurai's Tale."

Has anyone read amelia's books?
1.In the forest of the night 2.demon in my view 3.midnight predator 4. the shattered mirror (^ excellent vampire books, you'll kill to read them all again ^_^)
and while I'm at it, try reading the "dark" series V(Rated R)
"dark secret" dark prince trinity
and there's many others, these take the cake of vampire books ^

"Howl's Moving Castle" by Diana Wynne Jones is also good. It is quite different from the anime in my opinion, though, most of the parts are similar in some way. 3nodding

I love all her books. I've even read Hawksong though I haven't gotten around to Snakecharm or Falcondance. Hawksong if a good, good book though. P.S. Thanks for all the suggestions from everyone. =D

There's this one series called 'Abarat.' The first book is just called 'Abarat,' but the second is called 'Abarat, Days of Magic, Nights of War.' They're by Clive Barker. A third sould be coming out, it might even be out now, I just don't have it.
