Erica's POV

It was three in the morning, and while the other technicians, and the Cain men themselves sleeping, Erica was left with a handful of lower level researchers.

One of whom was on monitor duty, taking notes on any behaviour that would be considered odd.

Erica however, was working hard. A microscope in front of her, a note pad to her right, and a test tube filled with a gray liquid. A grin on her face, she wrote furiously on the pad, scratching out lines, and writing up new ones.

"Ah hah... Got it!" She mumbled, an evil chuckle escaping her as she grabbed a folder labelled 'Classified' and opened it up.

"It's finished... Now, all I need is some poor idiot to test it on... I believe I shall propose this to Saxton, and get authorization..."

The folder closed and she moved to a computer, this computer contained all the notes and files on potential subjects, one struck a chord in her, and sent shivers up her spine. A man, whom Erica had dealt with once before when she was 'having trouble' with the law, regarding her questionable experiments before her employment here with Saxton Incorporate.

"Yes... We'll see who gets the last laugh..."

[A few hours later]

Guards came rushing in, holding a man as he struggled to break free of their grasp, a potato bag over his head.

"What's going on!? LET ME GO!"

Saxton and Alys stood back as Erica was prepping the needle, the gray liquid sloshing around inside.

"Now now, if you don't stop moving, then I might be forced to sedate you, and I'd hate to do that..." She began, moving towards him and ripping off the sack from his head, his eyes blurring and trying to focus, before the image of Erica's face became clear in his silvery-gray eyes.

"You..."

"Yes, me. I told you I'd be back to haunt you someday..." She grinned, and Saxton stepped forward.

"You have this under control, I'll go ahead and register him at the front desk," He said, taking Alys's hand, and the pair left. Leaving the bound and defenseless Syrus, with the crazed scientist Erica.

"This won't take long at all, pet. Just a p***k of the skin and you'll quickly be napping, while I shove a bigger needle into your neck."

"You're crazy... you all are..."

"Maybe, but we're making progress... and I decided, why leave out my old friend Mr. Cooper? I think you would be perfect to try out this new ******** you. Psycho."

Erica growled, and nodded to the guards. They tightened their grip and forced his head to the side, revealing his neck. Erica walked up to him, and jabbed the needle, listening with satisfaction as Syrus gave out a pained grunt. She pushed down on the plunger, and suddenly Syrus started feeling sleepy, too sleepy. His eyelids quickly closing shut, and he went limp.

"Move him to the bed so I can get this chip in him."

They did as instructed, and soon Syrus's chip was in. The guards quickly moving him to his new home, leaving a note posted on his wardrobe.

This can be as easy or as hard as you want it to be. There's room for you to put your clothes in the wardrobe.

After four days, the eyes of a changed Sarina opened, however, they weren't as they should have been. Something was strange, her eyeballs were now black, while her irises were completely green. Of course, she had been advanced to 50% while she was in slumber, and she was given pain killers and sedatives so that she wouldn't feel the pain of the change, something was definitely not right.

The only subject whose eyes were black, were Syrus's. And no one knew what he was turning into except the technicians. Did someone add in some of his serum with hers?

She felt different, when she sat up, as well. Her senses were going crazy. She could smell Syrus, but he wasn't there, and surely she was bathed while she was resting.

She had scratches all over her, and bite marks on her shoulder. She couldn't remember what happened though. She could remember everything leading to her rage, but everything after that was a blank, including the rage itself.

She stepped off the bed, to see that her skin was a lot more bluer, and darker by a shade or so. Her tail was longer, too.

The door opened, and she flinched, falling over. Preston ran to her side and helped her up.

"Are you okay?" He asked, worried.

"What... Wh... Where am I?" She asked in return, cofnused.

"You're in the labs, Syrus attacked you."

"Oh... Okay... " She glanced up at him, and he looked surprised.

"Rina... your eyes are... different."

"I know... I don't even have to look and I can tell... So's my hair and skin... What happened to me?"

"I wish I knew. It must have happened when we gave you your Advancement serum."

"Can I go home?"

Preston gave a meek sigh, and nodded, "There's no need to keep you here, we have all the samples we need, but I'd like for you to talk to Alys at some point."

Sarina nodded, and let Preston do his job of taking off the IV's, and gave her a change of clothes. She showered, and soon after she was released, escorted back to her apartment.

Aurora watched and then noticed the woman was talking to her. She seemed to he holding a drink for her. putting her hand out she tryed to take it but her hand missed.

"Athena tryed to kill me." she said in almost a wisper. She finialy got her hand around the cup. Moveing her hand holding the cup to her mouth to hit the oxgen mask.

Aurora shakly moved the mask and drank the silution. She made a face it tasted bad to her.

She seemed tired, "She is here I saw her. She was holding me as some one else put some thing in my mouth and I could not breath." she was still a little out of it and looked at Angelica she had never seen this lab tec.

"THe berry was yummy and sweet and I did not think this like that were posionus." she then looked more closly at Anelica. "YOu changed your hair Rachael I can not beleve you did so fast I mean you never changed your hair all the years that I have known you."

"You are my best bud Rachel I know that when you are around that everything will be ok." she have a tired smile. "Though I think that your living room needs some redecorating. Why should rest I am awake." She chuckled at that though she yarned almost a second after she said that.

Aurora nooded weakly, "Ok Rachal I guess you are right I am a little tired. Thank you for helping me." She closed her eyes and relaxed. "Rachael make sure you tell Athena that she and me need to talk about what she was thinking." She soon fell asleep
