((this is taken straight from the main thread.)) liela_dragon_rayne "well...you didnt have to laugh about it" he says in his deep sounding voice "and this would be my first time being out. i've never been in this woods" he looks out on the lakes water, seeing the ripples go across it. "and who said i was walking away in shame?" Erelayne Avalon rose her eyebrows in disbelief. "I, in fact did not laugh at you, I simply snorted." She batted at a leaf on the ground absent mindedly. She then rose he head and her voice, "How can it be that you are a full grown brute and you've never been around these parts?" she thought for a moment "of course you don't look familiar so I guess you havn't been around here. You see I.... know everyone who comes around here." She took a breath proudly. "You may not have been walking away in shame but that had to have been the most pathetic look I've ever seen on a brute's face before." She sighed and finally crushed the leaf she had been toying with. liela_dragon_rayne "it was still a laugh to me" he turned his head causing his hair to go back "and why are you calling me a brute?....i know i'm a full grown, i just havent ever been out. i cant explain how or the reasons behind it..." he now looks towards her "i'm new around here alright" he lowered his ears hearing her remark "....."

She sighed inwardly then seemed stunned at his question. "It is next to a compliment for me to call you a brute. At least I see fit to acknowledge you manhood, would you preffer I called you a pup? Because that's how your acting." She stiffened her back and tossed her head while dragging a claw along the moist dirt. The sun was gone and night had set in. She stood out like a sore thumb in the night time, which was why she loved the winter the snow made it slightly easier for her to blend in. "Why do you feel the need to make my pity you? Don't you see you are a man? One who is much more deserving of respect from others then you think?" She sighed and shook her head. Her tail flipped in annoyance as she studied the brute.

Armand gave a lower growl, staring oddly to the side. "well...if you must know. i didnt know that is what i'm called. my owner just tells me am a male epona" He stands up and turns, his white fur could be seen clearly in any darkness "i'm sorry if i act like a child, if you wish, i'll just leave. and i do not ask for your pity, nor do i think i'm appling that i need any. i simply wanted to make a friend.."

Avalon realized what she was witnessing was not a full grown brute but indeed a pup in a brute's body. She sighed at his self pity and shook her head. "Might I be able to show you around my lands? You would be welcomed here if you so desire." She reminded herself to slightly smile, it wasn't something she did often so it took a certain degree of effort to accomplish.

Armand sighs softly, turning around and walked towards the female. he stood somewhat away from her "yes, i would like to see the lands around here. my name is armand" he introduced himself, not knowing or remembered if he had said his name

Avanlon decided to give this brute one more chance. She knelt down letting her mane run over her face. "I am Avalon." She said as she stood up and flipped her mane out of her eyes. Suddenly full of energy, with the onset of night she clawed at the growned. "This here is my favorite spot in all the land. This lake has been more then a friend to me for a good long time." She paused and blused at revealing such intimate information. She sighed and began walking to the north.

Armand walked over to the lake and looked in it and then around "it is a lovely spot. quite beautiful" He turns to look towards her. wide eyes and blushed slightly seeing her movements of her mane. he looked to the ground abit then followed soon after "may i ask, why it's your favorite spot?"

Avalon sighed as she looked wisfully out onto the water. "It's peaceful." She said simply. "Unlike most places, it remains untouched by the taint of evil." She knew she sounded silly but it was all she could think to say, and the dead truth. She remembered her mother bringing her hear when she was young and pointing out the purity of such a place. it was free from killing, free from wrong doing, and free from the autrocities of the world. It simply was. It almost seemed the lake exsisted solely to please her but Avalon knew better, more then once had she given up her day at the lake to let another have it and know it's beauty. She sighed once more and shook her head. "You must think I'm silly." She looked up into his eyes. "Am I silly?" She suddenly had need to hear that she wasn't acting like a child, suddenly every thought that had just crossed her mind seemed like a fairytale and useless. ((O.O Hoshiz, it's long and slightly rambly..... lol))

Armand turned to look out onto the peacful scenery, feeling her words of what she felt warm'd him. he looked towards her giving a happy smile "no, i dont think your silly at all. i can see and feel what it is your feeling and what you feel towards this place. is there other places like this?" He looked at her as he walked along side her

((It would seem that the time of year is snowy (Going along with shooter, kit, and ice's rp) so no the snow didn't just randomly appear, act like it's been there the whole time lol xd )) Avan smiled as she nipped at the snow. She sighed and looked up at Armand. "Why yes there is!" Suddenly gaining some unknown energy she shook herself and broke into a fun little trot headed toward what looked like sheer mountain side. The snow had capped the mountains with a sparkly white and the skeletons of trees seemed to hug the white that frosted them.

Armand looked up watching the snowflakes fall covering the ground with it's white ice feel. a snowflake fell onto his nose. shaking his head abit, he winggles his nose trying to rid of the cold feel it laid on his nose. he looks up, pricking up his ears, smiling seeing avalon sudden bust of enegry. he laughed and trotted after her "i cant wait to see them"

Avalon giggled in a way that made it so her years seemed to melt off. She smiled back at the brute, who now had earned that title, and trotted off. After an inch of flaky whitness had been added to the already deep pack below them, and they had traveled for a while they came upon a small cave, whose mouth was being quickly filled up with snow. Avalon jumped out of the snow onto the slightly damp cave ground. She smiled as she looked around at the amazingly colorful rock formations that were now slightly washed out by the reflection of the snow. She giggled as she curled up in her favorite one that reminded her of a mother's embrace. She looked up at Armand, here eyes sparkled.

Armand followed ever closely, smiling and laughing with great delight. Dashing thorugh the snow and pouncing some snow banks. he stood up with his ears in the air, seeing her jump into a cave. he soons follows, jumping in after her. he lands right in front of, he smiled then lowered his ears as he gazed into her sparkling eyes. he was memorized by her eyes and soon shook himself out of his trace, looking around. he noticed she was curled up around a rock formations. "is this another special spot? it's very beautiful"

Avalon looked around with a giant shimmer in her eyes. She almost felt tears of joy brim there. She sighed lightly and smiled. "This is where I was born." it's the most beautiful and private place in the whole land." She sighed once more to herself and move in the 'mother's embrace' formation to make room for him. "Won't you come join me?" She asked quietly, shaking herself gently from her trance. She smiled up into his beautiful eyes, a private smile, meant just for him.

A slight tint of red came across his cheeks seeing her silent smile. he lowered his ears as he stood up and walked over to her. he circled around in the spot next to her, laying himself down, all the while he tryed to remember his own mother, but no memories came to mind that of his owner taking care of him. he lifted his ears, looking towards her giving her a warm lovling smile, laying beside her "it is a very beautiful place. it's filled with warmth and love..." he says as he lookings around the cave, then back to her "i can see why it means so much to you."
