Is anyone else here planning on going to Homecoming (stag/with a date)? I know I am ^^ . I just got my dress so I'm really happy.

I have a feeling I SHOULD go, as it's one of those things where Seniors are supposed to do school stuff.. but I just never end up doing any of it. ToT;;

Cereal Murder I have a feeling I SHOULD go, as it's one of those things where Seniors are supposed to do school stuff.. but I just never end up doing any of it. ToT;; So probably not. D: Same here. I went to homecoming freshman year and it was awful. It got so hot in the cafeteria that the floor wax melted and ruined my shoes. It's simply not worth the trouble.

I might go, Kimmie wants to drag me as her hippie (non)date. Which would be muchos fun, but I'd rather just hang out with her at Borders or somewhere of the like.

Mine is next week, and I'm definitely going. Last year's was awesome. Though I don't have a date. That's fine to me because I have fun with my friends anyways.

But then I've heard from my roommate that they actually played good music at his.

I mean yes it is because they are responsible for you while your at the dance and your parents will sue them if you get high in the parking lot, but they could just have a sign out sheet by which you wave your right to sue them or something. Being there the whole time would be torture. I remember senior prom we had to stay there the whole time, gaaaahhh. I nearly chewed my arm off.

Ok, as a High School graduate I have a few words of advice about Homecoming,
A. If you are a boy and not all that into going, GO ANYWAY, you'll make some girl's day and it's a very nice thing to do.
B. If you are a girl and do not have a date and are freaking out, just realize it's because cool boys don't like to go to dances.
C. once again, COOL BOYS! GO TO THE DANCE! It's a very nice thing to do. Girl's have this thing where they feel that if they don't get a date to the dance that means that they are ugly and uncool. Not all obviously, but some, and its kind of an ego blow to not get a date to the dance. Silly? Yes, but it happens. So just suck it up and go!
