Zanpakutou Shikai Studies
After reaching the Shikai stage of your Zanpakutou metamorphisis, you are elegable to take this class. Which is not one of the 4 main core classes but an advanced side class. At the end of this class you should have more knolegde of your shikai form zanpakutou and the ability to control it flawlessly.

Kari glides into the classroom, her eyes scanning the room as if she was looking for something in particular.
Finally, she casually slipped into a chair in the corner of the room, her silver hair flowing over her shoulders and her earring dangling elegnatly below her earlobes.
Again, she was the first one to arrive for class.
The bell was going to ring in ten minutes....
"Might as well take a nap while I'm at it." She thought.

I walked into the room with determined stride, my black overcoat flowing behind me. Being quite average in build I didn't seem to be that intimidating, perhaps though the long dark blue hair covering the right hand side of my face and my often evil look on face took precedent over how I appeared though.
Glancing around I see that a student had entered the room, and there was no sensei to speak of at this point....coincidentally the girl was asleep. I approached the desk and looked at the girl. Did she have her Zanpakuto with her?
I walked up to the sensei's desk and glanced over the table. Currently nothing, which meant a teacher wouldn't be coming for a while, that would be annoying for the girl. Thus I decided to take the class.
"What is your name." I said my monotone voice rung loudly with authority as I stood, straight.

Snapping awake at the sound of a voice, she awakens to find herself facing familiar young face.
"Who is this guy?" She wondered.
Then, rubbing her eyes and stretching a bit. She smiled at him delightfully and reached out her hand to him.
"My name is Tsukiakari Masurao, but you can just call me Kari, or K-Chan!" She greeted warmly.
No doubt she was in her happy state at the moment.

"Hai," I said, "My name is Kenosha Kai formerly Gensui (General) of the Seireitei Resistance movement." I bowed. Then I pulled a book from a cabinet and placed it on the desk. I flicked over a few pages, "And what do you know so far about your Zanpakuto."

"eh?"
She withdraws her outstretched hand and looks at him for a moment in confusion.
"My zanpakutou?"
She gives herself a moment to pretend to think, her faces in a thoughtful expression.
"Well, what is it that you're trying to ask me? The answer to your question is quite broad..."

Her answer was logical, but it still made me roll my eyes in semi-disgust.
"What is your Zanpakuto's name, what type of Zanpakuto is it, does it even have a name." I lifted Waraku up into the air before me.
"This is Waraku, she is a water type, melee zanpakuto." I said to demonstrate, "Her favourite attack method is to stab as she likes things to be done quick and simple. Oh, it's a female Zanpakuto."

(Sorry for being so slow... sweatdrop I'm still modifying my profile to my liking..)
It seemed to her that he was trying to imply something liek a duel of some sort. But nevertheless, she looked at his sword with false interest and smiled at him gleefully.
"Why the interest, huh?"
She paused and examined his tired, irritated expression and after a while, she slid her sword out form its sheathe.
"Her name is Boukyaku . It means 'Oblivion'." She explained.
"She likes to absorb her victims' strength and burn everything within 100 arcres in radius of her."

"So you already know it's sex, it's name and it's attack style," I thought about it for a moment. Absorb...burn...even the name. I shook my head slightly, "This will go a lot easier then."
"My interest is in your ability to induce Shikai." I said. I put Waraku back beside my hip and looked at the girl, "Can you induce Shikai yet?"

She looked at him an frowned slightly.
"Of course I know. Did you think I was completely inept to my zanpakutou's abilities?"
There was a pause.
Her tone changed slightly to a annoyed tone and her emerald eyes flashed for a moment into a red hue.
After a second, she seemed to have settled back down into her usual self and smiled brightly again.
"I think I can induce Shikai... but I have to tell you not completely yet."

"Well then," I said quietly, "You should begin practicing, because we cannot continue until I see your released Zanpakuto." With that I sat back in the teacher's chair and waited for her to proceed. This lesson wasn't about learning to get Shikai, that could only be done by the Shinigami themselves because each time it was different.
"Go ahead and induce it." I gave the command.

"Right now?"
Slightly taken aback by his blunt request, she paused and thought about what to do for a second.
Was he testing her or something?
Then, slowly, she unsheathed her sword.
"Surukouro."
Her sword gave off a gleam and glistened under the morning sun.

So far, it seemed that there was nothing and I nodded at her question. I wondered just how the girl intended to show off her Shikai, it would be something to watch. Or so I thought, I liked watching Shikai in action as it was the essence of the blade itself. Waraku, Yamachou, Jiyuuishi and all the others I had so far encountered were astounding.
Though there was that girl...
