Cyrus had never realized how truly tiring it was to walk everywhere before. He supposed he could've gotten a cab, but he needed to save the money he had for food. He grumbled a bit and paused to stretch a moment before eyeing the house - was this even the right place? It wasn't like he'd ever been here before...
The teen let out a long breath and walked up to the door, hesitating a moment before knocking. No turning back now.

Bronnie opened the door, and she blinked before breaking into a grin. "Hi, Cyrus! I didn't know you were coming over..."
"Who is, Bronnie?" Sunny yelled from the next room.
"It's Cyrus."
Sunny peered around the corner, and waved. "Hello." She disappeared again.
Bronnie rolled her eyes. "You coming in?"

He grinned a bit sheepishly, ears flopping to either side of his head when Bronnie opened the door. "Yeah, well.. Just felt like stopping by, so I did."
He nodded quickly at her question and stepped inside, eyeing the corner Sunny had disappeared around as though expecting her to suddenly leap out again and berate him for the drinking incident.

"C'mon upstairs," Bronnie urged, waving for him to follow her. "So mum can't hear us talk. I got really, seriously grounded. But I'm not any more, so I guess it's okay." She shrugged and started up the stairs.

Cyrus followed her, quite eager to be out of the hearing range of a parent, even if it wasn't his. "Sorry about that, by the way.. I didn't really think..." He frowned and decided to leave it at that - it did all boil down to him not thinking, after all. "At least you're free now."

"Yup," she said cheerily. "But it's okay, it doesn't matter anymore, I guess. This is my room, here." She opened the door, and spent a moment or two kicking laundry out of sight. "Um. Sorry about the mess?"

Cyrus shrugged her apology off, giving the room a quick once over. "Don't worry about it. Mine's a lot worse. You can hardly see the floor under all the games and junk," he said with a bit of a laugh. "Only my mom's room is ever neat anyway."

"Even my mum's room isn't all that neat." She pulled the rug over the burnt spot in the middle of the carpet--it had, after all, been bought specifically to hide it, and it wasn't her fault it kept moving--and flopped down on the bed. "I haven't actually seen you in a while, except, um. Then."

"My mom's just a neat freak, I guess." He eyed the burned spot for a moment before the rug hid it again. Maybe she'd tipped over a candle or something..?
"Then?" A pause. "Oh! ..uh..yeah... I got into..a lot of trouble over that too." He frowned a bit. "Did you make it home from there okay..?"

Bronnie frowned. "I guess I did. I'm not really sure how I did, because it's sort of hard to remember, y'know? But I must've made it. You made it home okay, too, right?"

He breathed a sigh of relief at that and grinned a bit. "Good. I was worried cuz you're the only one I hadn't seen yet." He suddenly decided the rug on the floor looked very nice and set about examining it. "Um..I kinda ended up...somewhere else, but I was okay, at least. Just a bad headache from the drinks."

"I guess that was a hangover," Bronnie mused. "It wasn't... er... I'm not sure I want to do that again. Not for a long time, anyway." Possibly not unless her mother was temporarily gone, too, if it came to that. She poked at the rug with her toe.

"That's what my aunt said it was too. Gave me this awful gunk to cure me that didn't really help at all." He frowned and pulled his gaze from the rug to his hands - fascinating things those were too. "I think doing something like that again is a dumb idea... I.. ..strange things can happen when you don't know what's going on. I can hardly remember anything from after you showed up."

"Really? You must've been really drunk already." Bronnie blinked. "Well... at least you got home okay, I guess. Sort of. Where did you end up?" She blinked at him, rearranging her wings. Why was he being so weird?

"Well I was there for a while before anyone else got there.." Cyrus grimaced a bit and glanced towards the door briefly - maybe he could make a quick escape..
No! This was the whole point of coming here! ..aside from making sure Bronnie was alright, anyway. He sighed and took up staring at the rug again. "Um... Well, remember how Angie was there too?" He dared a quick glance at her for a moment. "I..we... There was this hotel room, okay? And we kinda woke up together." The last sentence was rather rushed, and he inhaled sharply once it was out. ...his hands were suddenly very interesting again.
