That wasen't actually quite rare for the lion, but whenever he did it, it was usually quite.. painfull to other individuals. In this case, it was a pair of gazelles. One paced nervously a good distance away, and the other was acting as his little plaything.

The baby gazelle was a live, only orn out, and injured, even though the large lion didn't quite seem keen to eat or kill it; it was, afterall, more fun alive. The lion was perhaps something to behold by size; as a firekin, he was already big, and his life had made him even larger. A thick mane more-so protected his neck, and made him look even larger.

His fur had grown over a good deal of scars, if one cared to look closer, they'd still see them though. He was mostly red, though black and white showed on him. 'Giant' paws batted the young gazelle side to side, almost as if bored eyes waching it stumble and scramble, trying to get away.

One might think he had never been told not to play with his food, though no intention to eat was in his actions. He was simply bored. He lifted the young creature up with a paw that coul;d cover the tiny things belly entirely, staring boredly at the struggling creature. Its legs were fine, it only had a small gash on its head and a few scraped on its side.

Picking on gazelle or other preybeast had never been fun, and he never wasted much energy on it. He waved the paw boredly to the side, the gazelle slipping off, flopping onto the ground, then recovering and dashing off. Its mother had started to run just as the young one caught up.

He had left Afu for a while. He 'liked' the female, she reminded him a bit of Gumu, even though she wanted so much to be a queen. It amused Ahali. Especially as she'd given up being a queen of a pride, once. But for now, he remained sitting and waching the two gazelle flee with most desinterest.

Interesting, was the only word this maned wolf could come up with for this place. Her black and green fur shimmered as she walked along her ears perking up at the sound of movement. Moving back a few steps she watched as two gazelle broke through obviously trying to get away from something.

Whatever it was it interested the oddly colored maned wolf and so she proceeded to find out what ever had given them a fright. Everything interested her, she basically lusted for knowledge in a way.

When Siria'Chunuka came across the lion she simply looked at him, sort of. She has a dull look to her eyes and it would look to some that she was looking at him and to others that she was looking through him, however the first was the correct one.

"Are you the one that scared the Gazelle?"

He ahd seen the maned wolf as the gazelle passed her, but she had, perhaps fortunatly for herself, sparked no interest in the giant. He'd killed, or beat up maned wolves before, and to say the least, they bored him quite a bit. They whined most of the time when he did it, too, those sharp little sounds that annoyed him so.

He flicked his tail as if dismissively, yet to his displeasure it talked. "Does it matter? "He growled, these creature were nosy, too. "As far as I know, their afraid if a cub walks up to them. " Gazelles, such cowardly creatures. They walked in packs, too. They were so stupid. They could probably scare a lion off if they all ganged up on it, and the 'pack' were big enough.

"Either way, it is none of your business. "

It was curiousity that caused her to reply to the large lion. "It was a simple question," Siria then paused before continuing "Although it may not have been my business I made it a point to make it my business, by simply asking you a question, however I see that you are not the most kind, quite hostile if I must say so myself."

The normal sized maned wolf seemed unfazed by the larger lion not a spark of fear inside of her. Waiting a moment the female then said "Many an animal are scared by something, though some more that others, is that a crime?" The black and green wolf asked the lion

Great. Leave it to Ahali to never find someone when he wanted to have fun, and someone pops up when he didn't want to any more! He flexed his claws against the earth, slicing grass in annoyance of the wolf's presence. "It is not your business, and will never be. no matter how many questions you ask. " He growled.

His ears flattened and he lifted one of his paws, turning it so he could examine his sharp claws. Setting it back down, he got up, and started to walk towards the maned wolf, but then turned and circled around it. "You want attention. " He said calmly, though that probably wasen't true. To him, it was, something as lame as that clearly just wanted attention, or to be taken out of its misery.

He didn't quite want to fight this lame, useless creature, it wouldn't be fun, and he knew well enough it was never goot to waste his energy, or health, with pathetic things, at least now. Gumu's death made him realise he would probably be hunted down by a few sets of lions, it'd be best if he were a bit more carefull, like Gumu had told him to be.

"I will give you some if you crave it so much, then. "

"Attention? I don't need attention, I do not want it, I simply wish to learn more." Siria replied cooly unfazed by his movements. This maned wolf had learned to survive on her own alone, so she had put aside fear, or atleast she never showed fear.

"If I did want attention, I wouldn't be seeking it from the likes of you." Yes, the female had to say it regardless of wether or not it would tick him off, it was perhaps her way of making things more entertaining.

Needless to say she wouldn't be useless in a fight she knew how to hold her own, however against this large lion, her chances were one in a million.
