My name is TheDarkMercenary, but my friends all call me "Sir".
I'm a massive Phantom fan (maybe obsessive is a better a word?) and I'm totally hooked on everything from the books, to the films, to the stage performances! My passion runs so deep that one of the first songs I ever learnt on piano was "The Phantom Of The Opera", I learnt to sing all the male parts in the films and stage performances AND when I play in my cousin's band, I wear a mask that I made myself. It sounds a little obsessive, but everyone has a vice!

Hello, I'm Christine Genevieve Rosseau, and I'm new. I was introduced to the phantom in about april of 06 from a friend, and all of my friends and family are wary of me because All I talk about is the phantom. I am, sooo officially obsessed with all aspects of the phantom. I know every last word of the book, and the movies, and can sing all of the female parts, and *sheepishly* the phantoms. My three favorite phantom characters are the Phantom, Christine *I don't know why though, she left him and all*, and Daroga.

Umm, my name is wolfs_fury, though my friends call me Yuna. I have been obsessed with the Phantom since January of 05, and introduced it to my friend Christine_Rosseau. I got her into it after school one day. Well, I am happy to be here, and hope to delve deeper into the Phantom universe!

Erm... hello? {Waves nervously.}

Ahm. Well. I'm Annie, if you couldn't figure THAT one out.

Anyways. I was introduced to Erik in Spring 05, after watching the movie. Since then, I've read the original Phantom of the Opera, Kay's Phantom (on a second reread right now), Angel of the Opera (an excellent Sherlock Holmes/ Phantom of the Opera crossover) and Phantom of Manhattan. (After all this, I realize the movie is horrid.)

Favorites are:
1- the Daroga (Kay)
2- younger Erik (Kay)
3- older Erik (Kay, Leroux)
4- Ayesha, the kitty (Kay)
5- Christine (Kay, Leroux)

Needless to say, I like Kay's version.

I mean, come on. Erik gets two horses and a cat.

Hi! I'm Elphie~Witch of the west....but you can call me Elphie. To those who recognize the name and link it with the rest of my name, yes, 'I am' the witch of the west from the wizard of oz...

I recently saw the play of PoTO and I've seen the movie, but I haven't been able to get a copy of the book yet. I really like all of the songs from the play, and my favorites are the 'Notes'

Anyway, I'm going to go post in other forums now! I'll be back!

Yello! I'm Snow_fairy2005, but most people call me Snow. Yes, my favorite season is Winter, as you can see.
The first time I've seen PTO was on TV. stare I loved it so much that I bought the movie the next day, then watching it almost every night. This year, in 2006, I might FINALLY see the play in December for my 2 sisters' birthday. (they love the PTO as much as I do)
Well, I'm done in here! Goodbye everyone!

And remember! He's there...

Bonjour! I am Michelle, a wannabe French speaker and aspiring singer. I absolutely love Broadway musicals, and needless to say 'The Phantom of the Opera' is my favorite.

I learned about POTO last year, when we sang a medley of all of the songs in our school Chorus. When I heard there was a movie out of the play, I was totally estatic and bought the DVD as soon as I found it (and luckilly for me, it was in the clearance bin). After that, I practically worshipped the ground Emmy Rossum walked on (figuritively; I doubt I've ever been to the places she's been) and drooled at Gerard Butler's feet.

However...when I was introduced to the musical talents of Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman via gift from my mom, my opinion totally changed. I now dislike the movie (ok, I still watch it...), and hunt Youtube for songs from the stageshow. I've read the original novel, as well as Kay's Phantom. I personally prefer Kay's version, even if the ending was a bit rushed.

Favorite Stage Performers:
Phantom -- Hugh Panaro is tied with Michael Crawford; they both have their songs that I love them in (ex. Panaro = PONR; Crawford = MOTN)
Christine -- Sarah Brightman for singing; Rachel Barrel for acting
Raoul -- Patrick Wilson (OMG I actually like someone from the movie! XD) and Steve Barton

Favorite Characters:
1. Daroga
2. Erik
3. Meg
4. Ayesha (she totally pwns Raoul, dude; XD)
5. Madame Giry

If anyone is interested in the singing I mentioned earlier, I have a youtube account that I will post singing videos on. They will mostly be showtunes, classical, or pop songs. I haven't done any POTO videos so far, but I have done "On My Own" from another excellent musical, Les Miserables.

Anyway, I bet you all are fed up of me by now. Sorry; I like to talk, especially about Phantom and myself. wink

I welcome you all. Harmonic, you seem to have been greeted by your obsession the same way I was. xD However I'm still hunting for Kay's. >.<

I am the Persian, or, Nadir if you intend to know me more personally. It is with the aid of our generous guildmembers that I have what I am suited in now, and I thank each and every one of them for helping me find a more proper attire.

Into my own personality.. I am, in a word, dependable. Usually I would speak in a more modest tone, but in light of recent events I feel that I have the right to give myself a small amount of flattery. My time and energy has been dedicated to saving our dear Erik's life, and he has turned it against me. I remain his loyal companion, for he has no others. He does not realize the length of which my devotion has gone to save him.. I hope this shall change one day, and I hope to convince the dear Miss Daae to look past his occasional fits of emotion..

I would rather not delve into my personality and history so much- I continue to enjoy my undisturbed privacy as it is.
