I'm going to show stones and list their powers.
Currently, only the following can use the stones:

The whole, blood thing makes the stones workable by ANY member of the Thranduil family.
Here is a quick reference list of stone names and their powers!
Note: These are subject to change as I see fit. I mean, come on... it's hard to come up with that many powers all at once!
Agate - Creates/Controls Storms
Aluminium - Allows the user to know the direction of their target
Amber - Immobilizes
Amethyst - Focuses the powers of other stones on a specific target
Ametrine - Allows for Spirit Possession of another's body
Ammolite - Negates Magic
Aquamarine - Water
Benitoite - Creates a tangible void of Darkness (like a Globe of Darkness)
Beryl - Teleportation
Beryl Yellow - Lightning
Bixbite - Temperatures (can make things hot or cold)
Cassiterite - Increases Physical Defenses
Chrysoberyl/Alexandrite - Snow
Chrysocolla - Shapeshifter Ability
Citrine - Can actually make the Sun Rise
Clinohumite - Induces Passion (I know.... don't say it!)
Cordierite - Can actually make the Moon Rise
Corundum - Control Rocks, Boulders, Earth, etc...
Diamond - Holy Energy
Diamond Blue - Healing
Diamond Green - Increases your Stamina
Diamond Yellow - Increases Telepathy
Diamond Gray - Increases your five senses
Emerald - Skyrockets your Charisma
Feldspar / Moonstone - Creates Serenity and Calm
Garnet - Creates Explosions
Garnet Mozambique - Causes Volcanoes to Errupt
Hematite - Can imprison (can like, create shackles out of thin air)
Jade - Controls Animals
Jasper - Creates Hatred
Kunzite - Used to clear the mind
Lapis Lazuli - Restores Life
Malachite - Controls Plants
Obsidian - Dark Evil Energy
Olivine Dark - Creates Mental Instibility
Olivine Light - Creates Uncertainty
Peridot - Can induce Dreams/Visions
Pyrite - Causes Earthquakes
Quartez - Invisibility
Ruby - Fire
Sapphire - Shields from Elemental Magic
Sapphire Red - Shields from Physical Attacks

Turquoise - Used to Shape Things Magically
Zeolite - Controls Sand and Wind
Zircon - Allows one to blend with the shadows

Zirconia Garnet - Slows Time Down
Zirconia Golden - Speeds Time Up
Zirconia Olive Green - Allows one to see the Past
