This is probibly a repeat thread, and people might get annoyed with that.
But what I hate more than repeat threads is old threads that that are full of conversations that are dead and burried but some idiot makes some stupid post after everybody else has moved on. So I am not one of those people.
and yea I have heard of wolfmother, they are good but not really a band I like. My favourate aussie band is still the spazzies because they are cute.

RatSlave DAMMIT people sorry i screwed up the poll If you edit the first post, you should be able to change the poll option. And yes I've heard fo Wolfmother, you'd be silly not too. They're probably my favourite Australian act at the moment, but I also like Thirsty Merc and End of Fashion. Eskimo Joe aren't too bad either.

There's quite a few Aussie bands I'm fond of and it would take me too long to list all the one's I have CD's of but I'll try.

Repeat Offender
I Nation
The Cat Empire
Cog
Shihad (Kiwis, but essentially Australian. >_>)
Dr Octopus
End of Fashion
Thirsty Merc
Jet
Err, that's about all I can think of for the moment.
Actually now I think of it there was a thread like this early last year I think, new members now, this thread is free to roam.

What do you mean ever heard of Wolfmother?
You'd have to be like... small headed... or short.
Wolfmother are one of our best musical exports at the moment. Even people in other countries have heard of them. s**t.
Anyway I like plenty of Aussie stuff. Faker, Augie March, Gyroscope, You Am I, Nick Cave, Beasts of Bourbon, Hilltop Hoods, True Live, Butterfly Effect, The Avelanches, The Whitlams, The Panda Band, Architechture in Helsinki, Youth Group, Regurgitator... the list goes on.
And yes, I do like Wolfmother.

Heard of them, not a fan.
I do however LOVE Gyroscope and Eskimo Joe. I.Nation are alright, better live, but I do also like a few other bands that I cannot think of their names right now... sweatdrop Sorry...my brain is completely wrecked at the moment due to work. I shall edit when I remember...

I don't know if they still play music anymore but I liked some of the songs by Killing Heidi. I also like Thirsty Merc. I haven't heard much from Wolfmother but I like the joker and the thief.
