Prologue
They have been called many things by many civilisations: Angels; Demons; Fairies; sprites; yet the truth of the matter is yet to be uncovered. The following is a tale of the truth behind the world watchers...
World watchers only appear when circumstances appear at their worst... or rather a short time before hand, drawn into our world from what has been referred to as inbetween, by an energy pulse through time... otherwise known as the disruption of true time, ergo history is changed.
World Watchers are mysterious, however they are also known to be random. No two world watchers are the same and this often misleads humans to think they are either their saviours or executioners when really they are neither, they simply do what they must restore time in the way they want to do it.
to return to their world they must defeat the threat to time and usually the planet, they sometimes fail however and when they do it results in a time closure, meaning the planet; its inhabittants; the world watcher; and the threat are all wiped from time itself.
RULES
The rules to this RP are not as simple as most:
1) world watcher's can only appear from inbetween if there is a bad guy or a character that threatens true time first. However, they can coexist, and communicate within inbetween.
2)there are three types of character in this RP:
World watchers
bad guys
humans
humans have no powers but can influence both world watchers and bad guys. The way this is done is left entirely to your disgretion, however a human cannot kill or overpower either a badguy or a world watcher
3) world watchers are not good or bad but whatever you want them to be, however they must prevent a disruption in true time for their own survival
4) Locations can be anywhere however only world watchers can go to inbetween, badguys and humans cannot go to inbetween
5) a world watcher may appear occasionally to repair minor time errors involving humans

make your chacter come alive how you want it to, there is no need to specify everything about it straight away, character development is one of the best things in a story wink

Biography: ~*Eike was raised in a financially scarse world of London, his parent's were overjoyed that he'd reached 10 years of age, then at 12, he was taken along with hundreds of others, sedated, and taken to a foreign country. His Parent's searched in vain for their small boy. Thinking he was dead, they gave up. In the meantime, Eike and the other children had many experiments done on them. Eike, through a colaboration of experiments involving electro magnets and magnetism, he gained control of these. Once he could control them efficiently, Eike led a revolt against the captors, and Eike stole a prototypical weapon, known to those who watched Star wars as Light sabers, Eike used this to break out and make the way for the others. Now he looks for those who could've made it better, the 'time keepers' as he came to call them. *~

The wind in a silent and empty forest stirs, an event is about to take place here, yet there is no one to observe. The wind grows stronger ever so slightly, what is happening someone might wonder? someone is coming. coming from inbetween, a place more mysterious than any in our universe. A shadow first and then the ghost of a figure appears as if floating. He brings himself into our world fully, as he does so his hair and clothes fall to his side, he stops floating. The wind stops and he looks skyward.
"so... it begins once more"
He then falls backwards and drifts as if floating on water through the air deeper into the forest, as trouble stirs within true time.

The world shook, Eike looked at his watch, "They're early."
The Tokyo skyline towered above him, the clouds gathering above them. "Damnit, not again." He jumped into his car, a Blue imported Mazda RX-7, and wheelspun off to the west, he knew he'd be there. He had to be.

Nessa glanced across the lake from her window. The spectacular view never failed to take her breath away. As she watched, she felt a tugging in her body. Something wanted her to return to true time. Something was about to happen. Grabbing up her staff, she concentrated on clossign through the time barriers, appearing as a shadowy figure a few meters north of the disturbance. Solidifying, she began to walk towards the spot, sensing a much stronger presence already there. Hurrying on, she tried not to think about what she would find when she arrived.

The calm unenthusiastic Aden drifted to a place deep within the beautiful forest, he turned around facing what should have been the ground but he had in fact been floating just inches away from the surface of a lake. He stoped for a moment hovering over the calm lake, as calm as himself. He stared at his reflection for a moment and then slowly turned again to face the sky as he continued slowly floating. Some would wonder what it was this strange creature was doing but in fact it isnt that strange. He was absorbing the atmosphere as one would do on a holiday. His inbetween was different than that of other world watchers as inbetween is different for all world watchers. his was dark emptiness, like a void of nothing. such a lack of stimulas provokes this kind of reaction in any person. All Aden can do in his version of inbettween is float and communicate to other world watchers willing to speak with him. For him it was like a prison and one that he has had to endure for countless centuries. coming into true time was like the few seconds of freedom to one bound for eternity.

Eike felt it, 'The oldest was here.' Blasting through the forests, he turned, avoiding tree stumps and banches, animals and debris. He came out into the clearing and saw him, the master, the absolute genious. Stopping the car, he got out and looked at him, dumbfounded at first. "This is the one." He said out loud. Lifting himself up, he drifted across the water to meet him. "Aden, is it really you?"

Finally arriving at the end of the forest, Nessa observed two people hovering above the midle of the lake. The were strong auras of magic hanging around the two of them. Watching carefully, Nessa realised she knew who one of them was. The oldest of the world watchers, and the wisest. For a few moments she just stood their, undecided in what to do.

Aden was for the first time in a long time shocked at what he saw, although no one could have known he was shocked, his face remained emotionless as usual. This was not a world watcher, yet he felt no evil within this person. This must be another he thought to himself. he righted himself to face the human who had obviously been manipulated somehow. Aden knew that it was not possible for ordinary humans to have such uncanny abilities.
"You are the reason i was summoned here..."
he drifted off in mid sentance, possibly unintentionally, but it threw the human offguard, somehow he created a more relaxed atmosphere between the two charcters. He glanced over in the direction of Nessa, he sensed her a long time ago. luckily eike did not notice her, the two of them began a most interesting conversation. Aden would discover the trouble that had begun in true time...

Nessa couldn't be 100% positive, but she was sure that Aden had looked at her. Feeling more confused than ever, she got the feeling that he wanted her to stay out of this for the time being. Besides, she didn't now what the other person was capable of.

Eike shook his head: "I don't know why you werre sent here, all I know is that I have searched my whole life for you and your race. Where are you from?" Eike dropped slightly lower, ashamed to be standing at the same level as the wisest world watcher.

"where?...hmm that is an interesting question..."
Aden looked up briefly, perhaps pondering over it himself.
"... I am from inbetween, a nowhere, an empty place of no occurence. It is nothing and yet it is... I am here through an error in true time, what you would call an error in history yet to happen. We are the world watchers who keep true time in order."
he paused and looked at the water beneath him, then looked at eike directly in the eyes...
"So, eike, I believe you have come to ask something of me? please share your thoughts with me..."
it was a mystery as to whether Aden had the ability to read minds or not, even other world watchers were not aware of Aden's full abilities and he had only shown them glimpses of what he was capable of doing. had he met eike at some other point in time? or was he reading his mind? perhaps it was a bit of both yet eike had not met Aden before... what could it mean?
Nessa was still watching the events taking place out on the lake, Aden decided to call for her.
"nessa... would you care to join us... we have a new friend to aid"
his speech often provoked others to wonder about him, if no one knew him he could seem in-experienced, those who knew him however knew he had power and wisdom beyond imagination. He always seemed to be shrouded with an air of mystery.
Eike was a little shocked that there was someone else listening in on their conversation. Aden was now fully aware of what had happened to Eike, his origins in London he could sense, his abilities the result of some kind of experimentation. however he also sensed that true time had a place for him and the results of the experiment yet not for the experiments themselves, true time was a very mysterious thing and Aden was well aware of the difficulties in reading it.
he awaited nessa's reaction...
