In order to succsesfully gain the equal rights we deserve, I beleive that we need to know what our goals are and who is against us. The first step or at least one of them is to make a list.
Lets start one shall we
Anything in blue will be GOALS. What the gay community needs from the government, from society, and from our selves.
Red is for any one person or group of people that are set out to stopping us from reaching our goals or that practice discrimination against the gay community. To put is simply, people we should just avoid. Including but not liminted to; online groups, organizations, places of bussniess, schools and universities, and political activist.
Green is any one that is helping our cause. Including but not liminted to; online groups, organizations, places of bussniess, schools and universities, and political activist.

Some important goals: 1. Stop being so close minded within our community, especially when it comes to dealing with our enemies. We need to reach out to people instead of burning bridges so often, we are trapped in a partisan stanglehold which blinds the direction which we need to go. We need to end this fighting and find a middle ground both can be happy with. 2. Learn to grow up a bit and stop screwing so much. Sex is not a friggin' game, the gay community needs to get over its obsesion with sex before it kills itself off once and for all. 3. Stop hating religion, and learn to get past our own ignorance before we can presume to tell others what thiers is.

We need to fight for a law to prevent discrimination all over the country. "In the United States, 17 states have banned discrimination based on sexual orientation with most laws focusing on freedom from discrimination in the work place, housing and public accommodations. Most of these states exempt religious institutions from these anti-discrimination clauses, and several exempt small businesses."(wikipedia) To me, thats not good enough.
Likie Karlikesspies said: Yes we need, as a community, stop treating sex like a game. Just because you cant get pregent, doesnt mean nothing bad is going to happen.
We also need to get more active in the community and in politics. Volunteer in your community and get involed with politics, even in your community.
The Resistance Manifesto, John Conner. He is a religious nut looking to pureify the world and exspose the satanist and freemosons. The gay community is not safe from him and his follower.
Fred Phelps of God Hates Fags: His church The Westboro Baptist Church of Topeka Kansas is millitanly against gays, america, and almost every thing. They activly protest weddings, funerals, and just about everything. They have alot of followers and who knows if they will become violent.
The KKK: Enough said.
There are gay freindly churches. If you are religous I would highly suggest you look them up.

Marion Gordon "Pat" Robertson (born March 22, 1930) is a televangelist from the United States. He is the founder of numerous organizations and corporations, including the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ), Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), the Christian Coalition, Flying Hospital, International Family Entertainment, Operation Blessing International Relief and Development Corporation, and Regent University. He is the host of The 700 Club, a Christian TV program airing on channels throughout the United States and on CBN affiliates worldwide.
He is opposed to abortion and gay rights. Robertson is a supporter of the Republican Party and campaigned unsuccessfully to become the party's nominee in the 1988 presidential election.
He is a Southern Baptist and was active as an ordained minister with that denomination for many years, but holds to a Charismatic theology not traditionally common among Southern Baptists. As a result of his seeking political office, he no longer serves in an official role for any church. Despite this, his media and financial resources make him a recognized and influential, albeit controversial, public voice for conservative Christianity in the United States.
Jerry Lamon Falwell (born August 11, 1933 in Lynchburg, Virginia) is an evangelical pastor and televangelist from the United States. He is the founding pastor of the Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg, VA. He also founded the Moral Majority movement in 1979, Liberty University in 1971, the Elam Home for alcohol and drug dependent men, and the Liberty Godparent Home, a ministry to women and girls dealing with crisis pregnancies
Dr. Robert Grant is often called the father of the modern Christian right in America. He serves as the Chairman of Christian Voice and the American Freedom Coalition.
Harold Lee "Hal" Lindsey (born 1929) is an American evangelist and Christian writer. A graduate of the Dallas Theological Seminary, a prominent Christian Zionist and dispensationalist, he expresses this theology in his writings. He currently resides in the Palm Springs area of Southern California. (wikipedia)

Rev. James Ferry
Louie Crew is an English professor emeritus at Rutgers University in Newark. He is best known for his long and increasingly successful campaign for the acceptance of gay and lesbian people by Christians in general, and the Episcopal Church in particular. He sat on the Episcopal Church's executive council (2002 - 2006), and serves as secretary of Province 2 of the Episcopal Church in the United States of America.
