What is love?
I heard somewhere once that if it hurts......
(when he is gone)
That if you don't have to question it.....
(because you already know)
If you think of him,and a smile appears on your face......
(to show that he makes you happy)
Then it,is,love.

Love does not hurt, it bugs me when people say love hurts...it's not the love that hurts...it's the LOSS or betrayal that hurts...
real love is a fantastic beautiful feeling when two people share everything together...when their is true friendship, companionship and togetherness, when they are completely at ease with each other, and are completely faithful to each other.

The reason love hurts, is that the idea of love hurts. The complete and utter lack of love hurts. Knowing how wonderful life could be if you had love hurts. So actually, love does not hurt, but its lack does. Sharing your life with someone wonderful. Someone special, with whom you would be able to talk all year and never be bored is wonderful. I have never found that, and probably nver will, hence love is an extremely painful topic for me. It brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it. Really, love is something you would be better off knowing does not exist, then there would be no pain associated with it. That goes so far as relationship love, however. Love for your family, an idea or certain things is perfectly fine, and quite natural.

No problem. It too true. All we can do is try not to let it get you too far down, mate! There are lots of cool things to do and see in the world besides it. Granted it sweetens things, but life can still be quite enjoyable as long as you keep trying. biggrin

Captain Kurse No problem. It too true. All we can do is try not to let it get you too far down, mate! There are lots of cool things to do and see in the world besides it. Granted it sweetens things, but life can still be quite enjoyable as long as you keep trying. biggrin
Truth be told.....
I be a 27 year old virgin,and
I be highly suspicious of guys.
I also be a hopeless romantic and set me standards to high.
So this one man th'at I be scoutin,has really been picked over.
A I still will be picking for the next year.Or two.

I hear ya. I'm 25 now, and I kept mine till 22, then I said might as well try it. It sucked. Anyhow I don't regret it, since I really did just want to know. Since then I have only been with a handful of guys, and the way I figure it Mr. Right is no where on the horizon. Usually there isn't anybody that even remotely impresses me, and my only qualification is personality. I guess that doesn't say much for the guys I meet. That spark is just something you have or don't. So now I figure I'll just wait to see who I meet. smile

Love ah a good question.
Love the word doesn't live up to the feeling.
I heard the question once do you still love me.
Love never goes away no how hard you push.
Love is fate.
Love is a feeling always different.
I love my mother one way but I love my soulmate/lover/boyfriend/girlfriend a different way.
Love is magic.
Love is hard to tell about because it's fantastic wonderful breathtaking amasing!
A feeling yo can never feel again.
And when you have to leave them or they leave you.
You weep that your heart won't beat faster in there arms.
That you can't feel that safe with that one person.
But I think that's enough right?
