1st Poll Contest

Note: Please read the first two posts before asking a question as most, if not all, of the questions should be answered there.

This will be the first official Poll Contest of this guild.

Older members might already know what it is about, since Ric hosted one of these on the guild a while back.

This contest will be held on the "polls" subforum and the purpose is to make the most polls you can. And by making polls I mean creating new threads with polls on said subforum.

There is no entry fee and there will be prizes, hopefully*, for every contestant.

The best "poller" will get a Thank You Letter of September of this year (2006).
The second place shall be awarded 3.000g
Third place will get 1.500g

*For surpassing a poll barrier on the contest, every contestant not reaching the podium will receive a consolation prize, which will be a random item.

Everyone can compete and there is no need to announce you'll be a contestant since ALL threads made after the opening one willl be counted.

The contest starts on October 1st and it will be up for a full month.

Rules

Follow the guild rules, which shouldn't be too hard.
Don't bring your mules because it would be unfair for other contestants.
Follow the most important thing on the "polls" subforum: DO NOT REPLY to any thread, just create a new one.
Not a requirement, but it may be safer to number your threads (all will be counted, but a mistake may occur).
You must break the Poll Barrier in order to receive a consolation prize (if you do not make it to the podium).
More rules may be added as I see fit.

Important note: Poll Barrier
The Poll Barrier is a limit you need to break in order to be considered a true contestant and receive a consolation prize. Even though every thread will be counted and the owner presented as contestant, consolation prizes will only be awarded to those breaking the Barrier.
The purpose of this Barrier is to make sure every winner is a legitimate contestant and not just an owner of a thread made randomly or for the sake of getting the prize.
The barrier will be broken if you make at least 15 threads.
