Reserved for Future use. If you want to rp in the HarperHall go right ahead. The Masterharper is quite ill, and some whisper even dying. There seems to be chaos all about and no clear leadership. Will one of the masters step forward? Still, lessons go on one supposes.

((I think I'm the only one who RPs at the HarperHall anymore... >.<))
Nikiana and Nalan wandered about the HarperHall one day after their classes. Both were apprentices, each in a different study. Nikiana was studying instruments, mostly playing as she wasn't that great at making any. Nalan was studying drums as that was about the only thing the boy could manage.
The red haired twins silently strolled about the Hall, listening to the various melodies winding their way from the classrooms. The twins smiled as they heard the chorus working on a new song, one that they had been struggling with for a while. While neither twin could sing with the chorus, they harmonized well together.

Kirana sighed as she heaved the supply bag up onto her bag, grumbling to herself. Why did Riran have to be afraid of dragons? She hated having to trouble back and forth between the Fishercraft Hall and Harper Hall by caravan. The ride between was bumpy, and she often got sick during it. Riran assured her it would be better than having to go between on the back of some smelly vicious fire breathing beast, but Kirana always protested that he was just being biased about it since the one chance he had to Impress, he had failed. Course, Riran always denied that was the reason, but Kirana knew. She knew her brother.
Traveling down one of the side hallways of the Harper Hall towards the exit, Kirana ended up be jostled to the side by her over weighed supply bag and smacking right into one of the twins. "Sorry Nalan!" Kirana exclaimed as she scrambled to pick up the items that had spilled from her bag. "I'm so sorry!"

Nalan stumbled as someone ran into him. He turned, bending down to help the girl with her stuff. "It's okay, Kirana. In a hurry?" The boy had seen the girl around, following one of the journeymen. He'd been told that the journeyman, Riran, was her brother. Then the person had muttered something about how Riran shouldn't be journeyman, but Nalan hadn't caught that part.
Nikiana bent to help the two as well. "Leaving again, Kirana? You haven't been here that long." The girl smiled, handing Kirana the items she'd picked up.

"Yeah, leaving once more," Kirana said, shaking her head. "I hate how Riran insists on coming back for more supplies, but never wants to stay for more than a day. I like being in the Hall. Doesn't stink of fish all the time like the Fisherscraft Hall does," She said, tucking a few lengths of gitar string back into her bag. "And I miss everyone. Mergh, plus I hate the sharding caravan travel...tucking into caves whenever there's threadfall and no Hold nearby. We lost two wagons the last trip, and nearly lost the one I was in! By the first egg, he's dimmer than a deadglow for making us take that thing rather than just betweening."

Nikiana shook her head slowly at the Journeyman's stupidity. "For such a dangerous trip, you'd think he'd want to stay here more than a day." The girl straightened up, taking one of Kirana's bags. "Here, let us help. We don't have anything to do at the moment." She handed the bag to Nalan and picked another one up for herself. "Riran should request dragons. Fort's a good Weyr. You hear quite a bit here in the Hall, and everything about Fort is always good. Shards, Riran should get some sense in that thick head of his."

"He says he's scared of them," Kirana said, rolling her eyes. "Afraid he's going to get mawled or something. You ask me, he's just bitter at not Impressing that time he was searched. I just barely remember, but Mama said whenever a dragon got close to him, its eyes went red, and it turned right away. Which I think is funny."
She grinned, hefting up the last bag. "Thanks for the help, you guys. I hate it when he scolds me for being so slow with the supplies. Wish he'd carry some of them himself..." She muttered before glancing back up at Nalan and Nikiana. "Sooo... Shall we?"

Nikiana shook her head. "Sad, really. We went to the last Hatching at Fort. Quite amazing, really." Smiling, she added, "It's no problem. He's got a quick temper, you know. C'mon." She headed off towards the wagons, carrying the bag.
Nalan hefted the bag his sister had handed him and headed off in that direction. "It's every boy's dream to Impress. To have the chance and not succeed, well, most boys take it pretty hard. But they say that dragonriding is in the blood. If he was Searched, you might have the chance as well."

A brown dragon and his rider appeared out of between over the HarperHall. The pair were running an errand for their Weyrleader at High Reaches Weyr. As the brown landed, several apprentices dashed out to get a close look at the mighty beast.
Nikiana and Nalan glanced over at the dragon, smiling. "Wonder what Riran will have to say about this," Nikiana stated. She grinned at Kirana. "Wanna go closer once we drop these off?"

Kirana grinned, "He certainly won't like it, but I suppose it won't do any harm," She said as she approached the caravan. Riran wasn't anywhere in sight, so there was no worry about going to see the rider and his dragon. Kirana hefted her bag into the bag of the last wagon and nodded to Nalan and Nikiana. "Race ya!" She exclaimed, dashing towards the gathering crowd.

Smiling, the twins deposited their bags and dashed off after Kirana. Nikiana pulled ahead of Nalan, but both had to slow down as they entered the growing crowd around the dragonrider.
The crowd was watching in awe as the dragon merely sat there, occasionally flicking his tail or a wing. I like them. He commented to his rider, who'd managed to slip off towards the archives to get the scrolls needed.
You would. Just because they could sit and stare at you for Turns.

Kirana beamed as she perched on her tiptoes to try and get a better look at the brown dragon. Sighing, Kirana beamed, "He's so beautiful. And well taken care of, too. I don't even see the slightest hint of dry skin," She said, going back to her flat feet before glancing between the twins.

Grinning, the twins nodded in agreement. "Hey look!" Nikiana pointed to some baskets hanging from the dragon's side. "That kinda looks... well, almost funny. Those tiny little baskets on the side of the large dragon." She blushed slightly, afraid that the other two wouldn't find that as funny as she did and would think she was strange. Well, not Nalan so much, but definately Kirana.
