Some of those pro-Kagome people say it's ridiculous to hate Kagome because she's ink and paint and paper and whatnot, but wouldn't it be JUST as ridiculous to make an 100+ paged thread IN HER DEFENSE?
Am I the only one sensing a bit of hypocrisy?
Just a thought.

No, you're not, I agree. If it's ridiculous to hate paper and ink, it's also ridiculous to love it. That statement is actually a bit degrading to manga and anime in general, as one of the best things about it is its amazing character development, to the point where the characters are more than simply paper and ink. After all, if we held no attachment to the characters we wouldn't be so inclined to read about them or watch them. The entire premise of such an argument is more ridiculous than what they're arguing against.

THANK GOD. I'm glad you mentioned this. I get yelled at all the time by Kagome Lovers saying things like, "Why waste your time hating ink and paper?" It's like, the same reason YOU waste time loving ink and paper! -sigh-
People really need to use their brains more often.

Just a thought. That is such a brilliant thought! Now I can tell those freaking Kagome lovers off when they say it is dumb to hate paper and ink...well it is just as weird to love it! Your right!
