so one of my really close friends likes my best friend. my best friend has said for about six months that she just didnt feel that way and during this period of time i began to feel for my good friend. i asked her out THE SAME DAY MY BEST FRIEND WAS GOING TO!!!!! i just want my good friend to be happy and she does like me but i think my best friend would make her happy and i am completely willing to let my best friend and her be together but now my best friend is saying she is off limits and my good friend is really upset with me. what the hell am i supposed to do about all this?

Why don't you all three get together in a semi-private but public place (this way they won't feel completely wigged out about this meeting) like a locak book store or coffee shop. Sit down and each of you talk about what's on your minds and how your feeling about this triangle. It will really help clear the air and know why your good friend is upset at you and why your best friend is claiming off limits. It's helped me a lot in surcomstances such as your own, and I wish you luck in setting everything up and having understandings.
