Cliff was the artist who got me into playing bass. If it were'nt for him I wouldnt have met my band and we wouldnt have made my school appreciate metal for what it is.
RIP Cliff, gone but not forgotten

you have helped bring metal to many lives and helped bring metal to what it is today.
you have rocked the lives of those you knew and those that watched you on stage.
your band mates and the fans of metallica will miss you.

Cliff Burton, still Cliffing 'em all in death! I love how in the middle of a concert James would call him out to the crowd and have him play an awesome solo. Hail to the King of Bass!
